   We love going to Maisonetta! This time sitting outside it was the buggiest experience of my entire life. I don’t know what Maisonetta could possibly do about that but it was what it was. We were swatting bugs o of our food consistently once it came out. That aside the food was amazing and delicious as usual. Mussels special, with the tastiest fresh broth. The escargot is some of the best in NYC. The shrimp tacos are to die for. The creme brûlée is perfect. The service is lovely.

   Maisonette is my new favorite local restaurant. The food is so delicious. Every bite is a surprise because everything manages to be so flavorful... The staff is really great -- literally everyone we interacted with. I leave stuffed every time. The value is also great for what you get. Highlights are the mussels and escargot and shrimp tacos, so far! More to try. Thanks Maisonetta fam!

   We had a lovely time at Maisonetta celebrating my mom’s birthday. The food was impeccable in taste and presentation. We’ve lived by this restaurant for a few years and this is the first time we’ve come since the new chef/ French infusion, and they did not disappoint. We can’t wait to bring more folks here when they visit us in the South Bronx!

   The food was amazing and I liked how spaced out the tables were since we are still mid pandemic. My one issue was how slow the service was. It was 40+ minutes in before we got 1 of our appetizers. We didn't even get served water (or menús) until we asked and even at the end when I wanted another glass of water, I had to ask 3x. They definitely need to figure that out. I got the impression they were understaffed and overwhelmed.

   The food was ok. The mimosas pitcher was was ice washed out. The music was loud, unable to carry a conversation without screaming. We had a reservation at noon the staff was barely ready.

   To be honest, we did not end up eating anything, however the food looked and smelled good. We sat down and ordered an appetizer and drinks which never came. After a half hour of waiting, we just left. We told the waitress we were leaving and she just said ok in an indifferent sort of way. They seemed moderately busy and there appeared to be only one waitress for both indoor and outdoor dinning. This place looks like it has potential, but they need to address what appears to be under staffing. I may give it another try in a few months, we'll see.

   I can't remember being treated this well at a restaurant in a long time. Our waitress went above and beyond to ensure that we had a fabulous experience. It didn't hurt that the food was delicious, too!
