We're pretty proud of having opened in the heat of the pandemic and still being here to tell you our story. Maison T came alive through the combined efforts of husband-and-wife team Masayuki Tamaru and Carolina Avaria. He is a celebrated French Chef, originally from Japan. She is a globally celebrated Hotel Chef Concierge originally from Chile. Food is his passion, Service is hers. Our kitchen and front of house teams will ensure you have a beautiful night, with friendly service, wonderful wines and of course extraordinary French fare. Check out our pooch-friendly patio in the summer months. We look forward to serving you.

    The food was incredible, the service and ambience were amazing. They really went above and beyond, they even made a hot sauce for me on the spot. I highly recommend it, great for a date night

    I recently moved to the neighborhood and had my first dinner at Maison T with my sister—what a gem! We shared the scallops, steak frites, and braised ribs, and everything was absolutely delicious. Our server was warm, attentive, and knowledgeable, and even helped pair a great wine with our meal. The cozy, intimate space made for a lovely atmosphere. We finished with an incredible coconut and pineapple dessert (I wish I could remember the name!) that was the perfect ending to a fantastic evening. I’ll definitely be back!

    Our first visit but certainly not our last! We were warmly greeted as we entered Maison T and that set the mood for the rest of the evening. Every single person who works there is delightful! We sat at the bar so had the opportunity to interact. The food was delicious. We expected to eat steak frites but when someone offers you wagyu steak frites...that's one better. Everything from our drinks to appetizers to mains was fabulous! The chef knows what he's doing and adding a Japanese flare to French cuisine makes it even more special. Maison T is one of those restaurants that is popular and has regular visitors and one has to wonder whether to share with others. But they deserve the attention!

    This is a quaint little restaurant with a nice vibe and great flavours. The staff are unassuming, knowledgeable, good natured folk. We had an excellent meal there.

    Fantastic! This is a small, cozy restaurant at Shaw and Dupont. From the minute you arrive, you feel welcome. The service and the food are outstanding. We tried eight different dishes and they were all delicious. My favourites were the Maitake Mushroom Tempura, the Wagyu Steak Frites and the Crème Caramel. Amazing! My experience at Maison T Bisto was the best restaurant experience I have had in a very long time. You have to go there.

    Had the Japanese fried chicken appetizer and the short rib for dinner. Just amazing! And very friendly and knowledgeable service
