   A lovely night at Maison T celebrating a birthday. Group of 6 with widely varied tastes, we shared four of the appetizers, doubling up on the Japanese fried chicken and the scallops. The foie gras was gorgeous as were the tempura mushrooms. Everyone in the group was very happy with their mains - with 2 opting for the steak special and 2 opting for the 'regular' steak; we also had a coq au vin and a duck confit to the table. I had the duck, which was fantastic - crispy outside, juicy inside, flavourful with a delicious wine/fruit reduction. I also tried a bite of the steak and it was wonderfully buttery and cooked perfectly. Service was attentive - not fussy but friendly and warm. We felt hosted rather than served which I think is a great compliment. Chef paid us a visit as well- an unexpected treat. Everyone left very happy, determined to return - really all you look for in an evening out!

   This small, out of the way restaurant on Dupont Street in Toronto's Seaton Village neighbourhood is a great find. The food is AMAZING. It is a French restaurant and it is the real deal. The wines are incredible and the selection is sure to satisfy every palate. The staff is attentive and knowledgeable and enjoy every serving their guests. I had the special, which was a wagyu beef steak and it was off the charts in taste. My guest and I had scallops as an appetizer. Call well in advance - it's difficult to get a reservation.

   Such a wonderful neighbourhood bistro. Can’t believe I haven’t been before, but will definitely be back. Food was wonderful and excellent friendly service.

    Warm welcome, wonderful food: a seriously enjoyable experience all round. Wish we lived around the corner, instead of thousands of miles away in the UK!
