    Have been here a few times but since last year. Drinks and food are usually great but not this time. Cocktails were slow to come out and bland so we switched to wine. Food was not as good as previous visits. Server was really nice. Restaurant was busy and loud.

    We frequent Selby and the experience is always exceptional. From the top quality food selections, to the creative cocktails, to the welcoming and professional staff, Selby is our go to for everyday dining as well as special occasions. We couldn’t recommend Selby more.

    Lovely brunch service. Grateful that they take reservations. Server was exceptional. Bright, personable & thoughtful. Really good coffee! Beautiful space. Will be happy to come back and recommend to anyone.

    Love this restaurant and the cocktail bar. Great vibe. Food was tasty (escargot was especially delicious). Couscous did have a couple of lumps but not enough to change the experience. If I had to give a suggestion: check on the wine glasses more often. We had to refill our wine 3 out of 4 times.

    Madison Selby made a special dinner out one to remember. From the welcoming and friendly staff to the ambiance, delicious food wines and dessert the meal was perfect. My guest and I have a gluten free dietary requirement, and the knowledgeable staff ensured that we were well taken care of. Thanks Madison Selby for making this a special evening.

    Great french restaurant , can’t go wrong with the Coq au Vin Or beef bourguignon . I do miss the sole meunière they used to have on the menu . The French onion soup never disappoints and the the desserts :) wonderful experience love the decor . Its a must to try! Jenny B

    Everything was really good, but I was surprised at how the staff was (under)dressed. I would prefer them to be more formal, or at least have a uniform, when it is such a nice restaurant, and at a higher price point.

    Had the NYE booking and it was wonderful. The staff was friendly and helpful with wine selection, the food was excellent and well presented. The cocktails in the speakeasy, were absolutely marvellous. Hats off to Jonny who went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful evening. Will definitely return again ❤️

    From the wine pairing expertly selected by Angela to the top flight service by Thomas, our NYE meal was memorable and outstanding. The meal started with oysters and ended with sweets and a cheese plate. Every course was superb. Selby never disappoints-it only continually raises the bar for all other restaurants and experiences.

    A first time but certainly not the last. Cosy French bistro. French onion soup, Coquille st Jacques and a side order of their fries, creme brulee made it a wonderful dining experience. Our server was knowledgeable and attentive.

    Meat undercooked, asked medium and it was raw, waiter didn’t even ask and saw my reaction. Partner finished meal before it came back out. When we ordered dessert a wreath also fell on us fell into our dessert. Waiter didn’t acknowledge if we were okay and only said thanks when providing them the wreath back. Little needs fell in our dessert drinks and dessert. Only comped the meat and not dessert and drinks which we didn’t finish. Overall very dissatisfied with second time going back. Don’t know if i will again.

    First time there, ordered the burger and waffle, yum! Such a pretty and Instagram-friendly place. There's a room that gives serious White Lotus vibes (which I'd like to be in next time). Friendly and attentive service from Thomas (who's a serious eye candy).

    The woman that seemed to be the manager was very rude and unpleasant. As myself and my partner approached the host stand, the lady asked if we had a reservation and I proceeded to tell her the time of our reservation. She responded back basically yelling and asked for my name, not the time. Overall, the food was great, along with our server, but management needs their attitude checked.

    This restaurant does everything right. The decor is beautiful. The staff are amazing. The food does not disappoint. The drinks are reasonably priced. You could pay more and get less at other restaurants. Must visit.

    Love the vibe at Maison Selby. Just being there is an experience in of itself. The service was excellent and the food was great. I had the French onion soup and it was the best French onion soup I’ve ever had. I also had the French onion burger which I had been craving for a long time and it was very good. The bun and the meat were amazing I just wish it was a bit heavier on the toppings so I could taste it more. Overall, it was a great experience.

    It was delicious! We started with the Steak Tartare and Duck Liver Parfait. Our entrees were the Beef Bourguignon and Risotto. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu items, made excellent recommendations and very friendly. We will definitely return.

    We really enjoyed our visit here. Staff were friendly, service was quick, and the space is interesting - very much suited to the vibe of the place. We had brunch - beef tartare (quite good, but with a bit too much acid that threw off the balance of the plate), the burger (really excellent), and the peach waffle (the cream on the dish seemed superfluous and oddly dense - the waffle itself was superbly made and would have stood beautifully on its own with syrup and maybe a dollop of whipped cream or a merengue topping). the wine list was a tad uninspired - and whilst the cocktail list seemed to make up for that, the average cocktail came with a hefty price tag.

    First time at Maison Selby, but certainly not the last. Went for brunch and the food was incredibly delicious, service polite and friendly, ambiance warm and cosy. Looking forward to coming back here for dinner…. And checking out the speakeasy bar downstairs afterwards.
