Wonderful restaurant , from food to service.
The butternut squash soup was great. Actually the entire meal was fabulous. The service is second to none. One of Houston’s best restaurants.
Sooooo Nice !!! Food was excellent and the service perfect !
Everything was great!
We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch yesterday. We started with the shrimp cerviche and had the Thai Chicken salad as an entree. Great food, great service, great atmosphere.
Excellent restaurant in the Houston Heights. Great food and service. It’s our favorite restaurants in The Heights for special occasions.
Certain portions are excessively small for the price.
An absolute delight. The appetizers were certainly the highlight, but the entire menu and overall experience was wonderful. Service was top notch.
Excellent.
I can't wait to return on a good weather day and have outside week-end brunch.
Birthday celebration as indicated in the reservation. No acknowledgement of birthday. The dinner room was exceptionally cold to the point we wore our jackets and hats through dinner. But we left early as the slow, inattentive service was not acceptable for a higher end establishment. Not at all like our previous experiences at Maison Pucha. Hopefully it was an off day and not the new norm.
One of the best restaurants in Houston. Great for any occasion!
Excellent food - pricey but worth it. The following may be a bit of a strange comment...the service was excellent but maybe a bit too over attentive: we had several waiters all over us continually filling glasses; asking how were were; what we wanted; asking how the food was before I had taken a mouthful. I think though this shows how nice the restaurant is with this being my only comment
Valentines menu was excellent. Also ordered off menu which was equally as delicious. Had the Bouillabaisse..highly recommend. Put it on your list!
Fabulous food and impeccable service!
Great foods, great service, great experience
This place was amazing. The food was the best French food I’ve had and my wife loved it too. The food was delicious, the staff was very friendly. Excellent place to go for a Valentine’s Day dinner. Will definitely be back
We took our daughter here to try French food and celebrate our youngest birthday. Everything we amazing from the food, the mocktails, and service. I did find it hard at times to hear our waiter, because of the mask but not a deal breaker. From the time we walked in and greeted I knew this was a restaurant I would love to return to.
We were pleasantly surprised and delighted by the quality, flavor and presentation in each and every course. James is incredibly knowledgeable and helpful guiding our foodie journey that evening. We shall return and bring
Great experience but food was overpriced
Great food and attention to detail from the waiters!
The place was food but probably won’t go back because it’s a little over priced for the portions.
Went for brunch on Saturday, looking over the menu they had steak frites which was an 8 ounce hanger steak with fries for $30. They also had steak and eggs which was a 10 ounce ribeye with two eggs and fries so it seemed to make sense to get the ribeye. We both ordered the ribeye mine medium, hers medium rare they both came out a little over cooked but was the absolute worst quality of steak I have ever had at a restaurant. I think they must have gotten the 30 steaks for $30 off the back of a pickup truck deal. Even with their steak knives we could not cut our steaks. Just cannot believe a restaurant of this quality and reviews would buy cook and serve such low quality meat, there was so much sinew the meat was inedible. We were so disappointed and upset that they would serve that quality of food we sent both back did not order anything else paid for our drinks and appetizer and left. Will never go back.
Visited: 5 Feb 2020 for Dinner.
Pros : Food was great, cocktails were balanced and made well, and the soufflé was absolutely delicious . Our waiter had a profound knowledge of the menu.
Cons: Seating is a bit tight inside. Also, my husband and I decided to share our orders, as we wanted to try a few of the dishes being our first time here. We did mention it to the waiter, just so that we can get some extra cutlery, and he kept saying "not a problem I will take care of it for you". He brought the dishes split instead (separate plating), which we thought was nice of them, and maybe because out table was cramped, however when the bill came there was a splitting charge on it . This was never mentioned to us. We had no problem paying the charge, but it was not good etiquette on their side.
The food presentation is always so beautiful here. The attention to detail is exquisite. Our water glasses were never empty, and there were lots of off the menu options. So many in fact, that I wish they had a board to highlight them all.
We absolutely love ordering the duck and the chocolate soufflé!
Another fantastic meal at MP. Wonderful fois gras and kale salad. Service is always top notch! Looking forward to going back.
The food, service and ambiance were fabulous!
You guys know I love this place, it's my favorite restaurant in town. Cheers!
Celebrated my birthday at Maison Pucha. Israel waited on us. He always does a great job of taking care of us. Management and staff are friendly and professional. The food is fabulous. My favorite restaurant.
Excellent food
I love their brunch menu! The energy of the restaurant is a little weird because there are not many people that come for their brunch, even though it is phenomenal.
LOVE LOVE LOVE! We have been to many restaurants, but this is our new favorite.
Great restaurant with contemporary and French influences in the center of the Houston Heights. Service was attentive but disruptive. Great cocktails and a reasonable wine list. We will be back.
Food was interesting and fantastic. Had to order some extra desserts to take home because everything was so good!
We went for lunch with our son and his fiancée. We weren’t disappointed, service was excellent, thank you James, the food was incredible, we WILL be back!!!
Maison Pucha is always and excellent choice for brunch!
Amazing restaurant with excellent food choices. The staff is awesome!
We are supporting our local restaurants and Maison Pucha is a very nice addition to our neighborhood. We hope it stays in business.
LOVED this restaurant! Probably one of my favorite places in Houston now. The food was AMAZING. The empanadas and french onion soup were some of the best I have ever had. The service was GREAT! They played great music. The drinks were really good. They had a large champagne selection. Everything was reasonably priced. 10/10 on everything. Loved it and a great value!
While I have enjoyed Chef Manuel’s creations before, last night was an exceptional celebration and feast. Well done to all. Superb!!’
