Based upon recommendations we had high expectations from this restaurant experience. Unfortunately that did not happen. The waiter was not responsive enough for our liking and for the price point. It felt like he was ready to get his shift over. It took him well over 10 minutes to get our drinks and the kitchen was very slow. And there was hardly anybody in there. The food was way below standard. All dishes were unexceptional. Calamari was fried chewy and greasy. I had the sea bass which was so greasy I actually could not finish the dish. The scallops entree which our server highly recommended were chewy and tasteless. We hurried through our dinner, wanting to get out of there as fast as possible. We will not be returning. Definitely not worth the time or money.

Alexis took incredible care of us. We had a group of 8 and they had the table waiting for us during prime dinner hours. Great recommendations as far as drinks, apps, and entrees!

The restaurant is decorated beautifully , they did a great job, remaking it from the prior restaurant. Our server was pleasant and on top of things for the most part. I gave food just good because the Lamb lollipops weren’t really lollipops and was full of fat and tasted like a leg of lamb as in really strong.

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant, it is a place you can be casual or you can go dressed up as a special occasion place. The portions were good and the appetizers are really good and surprisingly filling.

I have been to Maison Chinoise several times now, despite the fact that I has celiac and their menu was incredibly limited. However, I went last weekend and they can now do almost all of their entrées gluten-free by swapping out soy sauce for tamari. Our group ordered Kung Pow Chicken, Mongolian Beef, and Wagyu Beef and Truffle Fried Rice. All were gluten-free and all were outstanding. The general manager, AlyssaWilliams, made our experience even better. She was friendly and personable from the time she has escorted us to our table until the end of our evening. I was not the only food sensitivity/allergy in our group and she personally checked on us several times to make sure that everything was safe for each of us and tasty, as well. After dinner she walked us over to the bar next door, because we did not have a reservation there, and it felt like she was another friend that should have joined us for the live music. We will definitely be back very soon!

Wonderful experience. Food was outstanding, we loved sharing several starters and appetizers. Alexis our waiter made the evening perfection. And we topped it off by going to the Speak Easy next door and enjoyed the live band.

It was a nearly empty weeknight reservation, and we (a party of 2) waited 30 minutes for our glasses of wine and 50 minutes for an appetizer. No urgency from the wait staff, who didn’t even come by our table during that time to check in on us. Also music is too loud blasting in a nearly empty restaurant. We mentioned we were celebrating a birthday when we sat down, but that clearly didn’t make a difference with how bad the service was.
