Like always, Maison Boulud never disappoints us. We celebrated Baptism, anniversaries, birthdays and countless date nights at our favourite Montreal restaurant. The service is always impeccable and attentive without being over bearing. The food is greatly consistent and the warm Madeleines at the end our guilty pleasure.

Amazing dining experience. We had the chef's tasting with wine pairing and every dish/glass was exceptional. I can't say enough about the sommelier! The pairings were excellent and he was so enthusiastic and informative.

Awesome staff who were so knowledgeable about the foods being served. Our waiter suggestermd superb wines to accompany our meal choices . The truffle shaved over homemade pasta was an experience in itself. My wife and I are planning return visits to Montreal and the Ritz-Carlton on a monthly basis just to have the experience of fantastic food and service on a regular basis in our lives . No exaggeration here.

The brunch and lunch experiences are not representative of what the Ritz is all about. They are really disappointing compared to the night dining which is always espetacular. During the day, the service as well as the food are disappointing. In our case, last Saturday, we had a waitress who pressed us from the moment we sat down. It was dish after dish without leaving us the time to really enjoy it. We hadn’t finished our drinks that she was offering coffee. Not pleasant. My boyfriend also found a hair in my endive pear salad. This is the truth. We didn’t bring it up, as it can happen, but it added to the disappointment. The menu options for a brunch are defficient. I will never go back for brunch. There are far better other options in Mtl. A restaurant like the Ritz should be excellent no matter the time of day. I will not be recommending the Ritz any time soon. It left a bad taste in our mouth. And your online reservation system is also poorly run. I received a feedback request of our dining experience when we hadn’t even attended yet.
Amazing restaurant in Montréal, the service was simply incredible.The Wine Menu was really on point with amazing wines in accordance with the menu. Would recommend to anyone, especially for great occasions or even just for dinner/drinks.

I ate dinner yesterday and I was impressed so I made a reservation for breakfast.
I ate Egg Benedict and Pain Perdu.
Egg Benedict's Hollandaise sauce was very rich and creamy. Also, the ripening of the eggs was perfect, and the baby potatoes and cherry tomatoes Garnish that came out with were in fantastic harmony.
Pain Perdue (French toast) was crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. The sugar content was also good, so it was great to eat with maple syrup, apple jam or chocolate syrup. The butter tasted great and it really went well with the coffee.
A perfect and amazing restaurant that never disappoints me.
I'm willing to visit Montreal again just for this one restaurant.

If you wish to impress, this is a very good choice but we just wanted something special and we got it. We are not wealthy, but this was an indulgence that my wife and I will remember. Expensive, for our life, and well worth it. Thank you for the experience.

Exceeded our expectations, food was beautifully plated and tasted even better. The staff was incredible both helpful and extremely knowledgeable from the food runner, server, sommelier and manager.
Lovely place and we were treated like royalty, which is so odd.
We dined here last night and had a wonderful evening. Julian was our server and was kind and patient as he described the many wonderful choices on the menu. We started with the fried artichokes with a mint aioli sauce - delicious! We then had various starters: endive salad (delicious); oysters (delicious); ceviche (also delicious). All of the main dishes were also fantastic: tagliatelle with black truffle; Osso Bucco; a beef dish; a duck dish. Throughout the meal we were provided with baskets of delicious focaccia and sliced baguette. David, the sommelier, was very helpful in choosing the wine for our meal. We were never hurried at any point and had a wonderful, leisurely and memorable dinner at Mason Boulud. Would highly recommend this for a special occasion or family dinner if it is within your budget.

I’ve been dining regular at MB for a year now and usually have a good experience but this time was just bad. Service was poor. I was shocked by how off their game they were. I was offered and accepted complimentary champagne to make up for the initial rudeness and poor service after I made the manage aware. But the service continued to be poor. I had to ask for more water 4 times whereas usually my water glass is always being filled. I found I was often looking around trying to find a server for things and when the wrong order of coffee was brought to me instead of an apology the server bringing it got defensive exclaiming it’s not his fault because that’s what he was told to bring. And my waitress never came back to apologize for the mishap. Even asking for the bill seemed to take forever. Worst experience I’ve ever had at MB and makes me not want to ever go back. The food was okay but nothing spectacular.
Everything here was amazing. Not only the service we received from our waitress, but also the gentleman who was bringing around wine and anyone who happened to being out our plates. We did the tasting menu and when we had some questions about why things were so good everyone seemed to excited to answer our questions. Food was great, the tasting menu had 8 dishes for 130. It consisted of 2 amuse bouche, 1 appitizer, pasta, fish, meat, pre dessert, and a dessert.
We had the tasting menu with wine pairings since it was a special anniversary dinner. The attention to detail was clear. The flavours and the quality of the items clearly demonstrated how the reputation of this restaurant was earned. We enjoyed it so much we returned the following night for more.
We had excellent service from the entire team. Our waiter, on both nights was Sylvain. He was knowledgeable about all the menu items, always attentive and always enthusiastic. His guidance helped us to select our preferences and appreciate the complexity of the preparations. We look forward to our next visit.
First. It was a half hour before anyone approached us at the table to ask if we wanted to order a drink or something.
Waiter mixed up who ordered what. Not a big deal, but at this restaurant I would expect more professional service.
They were in a big hurry to take away our plates.... even before we were all finished. It was quite annoying.
Overall, food was very good but we all thought the service was very sloppy and quite annoying. There were so many wait staff all standing around. And when the bill came, we were charged $3 extra for the martini because they used Tito’s vodka (the cheapest there is!). That just seemed overly ridiculous.
Also, a bit of confusion waiting for our coats and with the valet outside.
Overall, should be much more professional at this restaurant.
Excellent service. Steak was extremely fatty - ended up throwing away half of it. This was disappointing given the price and reputation. Desserts were fantastic. Overall, ok experience. Didn't live up to Michelin star level.

Le maitre d’hotel condescendant. Nous avons été bien accueilli a l’entrée mais lorsque qu’un monsieur connu s’est présenté nous avons été mis de côté. Grand manque de classe.. très insultant.. meme le monsieur connu s’en est rendu compte et a gentiment dit non non vs étiez avant nous mesdames. Le maitre d’hotel a fait fi de son commentaire.
