The little French bistro you always wished was just around the corner is here. Maison Bleue is the brainchild of Sandy and John Vizzone, owners of The Hugh B&B, along with partner Executive Chef Anthony Depasquale.

Together, they have created a stylish—and delicious—interpretation of a classic French bistro. Like The Hugh, Maison Bleue is a perfect concoction of flair, verve, and intimacy.

We will also be announcing a New Year's Eve Special Menu very soon!

One of the most comfortable and delicious dining experiences ever! All around great food, service and the bench with the cushions to dine outside on the porch was the best. I highly recommend! Thanks!

We went for restaurant week. The food was outstanding and a great value for the 3-course meal. We had Coq au Vin and Pork Tenderloin with cognac and wild mushroom sauce. Both were outstanding! The service was friendly and expedient, but not rushed. The pot of cream and lemon tart desserts were a perfect ending to the meal. Mushroom escargot and a crisp green salad for starters were also perfect and delicious!!! We will definitely return and highly recommend Maison Bleue!

Visited during restaurant week. Cost $58 pp My daughter’s salmon was grossly undercooked. She didn’t eat much of it. It was very rare. But if that’s how you like your salmon, you will enjoy it there. We also had the liver pate which was overpowered by the add-on toppings same with the oyster appetizer. Instead of French inspired, it tasted more of a Tuscany inspired meal. The service was excellent. We sat on the porch, which was quiet, nice & covered. Desserts were tasty and enjoyable. This is a BYOB. Everyone raves about this place. We may go back and try a different meal. This meal was not it. Smart casual dress.

As has been consistently the case, the food was excellent! I had the mushroom “escargot”, prepared like escargot, in a light, flaky pastry…. Savored every bite! The pork tenderloin au poivre was melt in your mouth tender, and the Dijon/poivre sauce was fabulous. The perfect end- a chocolate pot de crème. Very special food, on the delightful porch. Service was excellent! Highly recommend!!!

The coc au vin was perfect. Love that it’s a BYOB. We sat in the main dining room, which is decorated beautifully, but VERY noisy. It was difficult to have a conversation.

We had a wonderful experience. Service was impeccable and the food was outstanding! We visited during restaurant week and we were all extremely impressed with all 3 courses. Dot was exceptional and answered all of our questions. She was friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. The atmosphere was beautiful and the entire staff was attentive, enthusiastic and efficient. We highly recommend visiting this restaurant on your next trip to Cape May!

My husband and I love to try a new Cape May restaurant during Restaurant Week. Maison Bleue definitely did not disappoint. The food was absolutely amazing. The Mushroom “Escargots” was amazing. If you don’t want snails make sure you order the version without parentheses around Escargots! The atmosphere and elegance of the dining room makes you feel that you are dining in a posh French restaurant. Glad we tried Maison Bleue and plan to return for many more delicious dining experiences.
