   I had a reservation for 5 @ 0700 for my wife’s Birthday. My group of 5 was sat at an extremely small 4 top could have been considered a 2 top in some restaurants. I have never had this happen at a restaurant that is supposed to be fine dining. I ordered appetizers and they could not even fit on the table due to the lack of space. I requested a bigger table and they said the hostess had to make that decision. I asked to speak to the manager. 10 minutes later I inquired again and they sent the young hostess. I reiterated that I wanted to speak to the manager. She finally came up after I told them to cancel my order if the manager was too busy to come speak with me about seating. About another 10 minutes later passed and as we were about to walk out the manager came. She told me the only place where a bigger table was available was out on the patio. It was a pretty night so I said that would be fine. Little did I know that there was no outside lights beside some very small solar power table lamps. When the apps came out it was still light outside. Then the mosquito’s came!!! By the time our dinner came out it was dark and light was scarce. All this to say I might expect this from a chilis or a restaurant or that caliber but have never had this issue at a restaurant that is supposed to be fine dining. Food was delicious so that’s a positive.

   Celebrated my mother’s 72nd birthday at Sunday brunch. She enjoyed everything and so did I. Can’t wait to return.

   The service was good after I was sweated. The waiter took care of us very well. However, up until then, I struggled with communication from the restaurant and my seats weren’t available upon arrival although I had reservations. When you call, nobody hardly ever answers the phone. They have a spot to communicate with the restaurant and I put that there, they still didn’t answer and still told me to call the restaurant after I told them that I was calling and they weren’t answering. This best explains my rating.

   Love the fact it’s black owned but that’s not enough to get my money again. Ambiance is amazing but everything else was mediocre. When I go out to celebrate a special occasion I expect the best. My waitress was slow, waited a good 20-25 minutes before we got something to drink. I barely cook but I could have cooked my boyfriend a better birthday dinner. I usually pay attention to the reviews but I went against my better judgement and paid the ultimate price!! My advice believe the reviews WE NOT LYING. Hopefully they will get a better chef and staff because that 20% gratuity was not earned.

   Celebrating a family milestone with a small party of 4 should have been a breeze. We had a reservation for 7:15 and we arrived a few minutes early. The valet and hostess staff was nice and attentive. The building aesthetics were also good. Problems : 1. No drink order for 30 min and not until WE stopped someone. 2. 1.5 hours for 2 apps and 3 meals to arrive like warm. The apps were watery spinach dip and calamari . Dinner was 2 lamb chops overcooked, oxtails cold and greasy. The baked fish was the better of the 3 meals. 3. Our server was nice but really bad. He saw each plate was horrible and still proceeded to serve them. The wait time for the entire evening was amplified by the awful food. The table behind me had an equally experience and were very verbal about it. I believe this place has potential. Where was management? No one ever came to either table. Customers can be understanding IF you care about their experience. Come talk to us and try to fix the problem.Good luck!.

   Brian and the front staff greeted us at the front desk with a smile an open personality ❤️Amber was our server she was very patient and professional with my family,everything was phenomenal! This was our 2nd visit here! Outstanding service 💯 the food was so good we ordered to go meals. I highly recommend this restaurant is Top Tier ! Thank you Mahogany we will definitely be back soon!❤️

   You can not go wrong here. Excellent!!! Perfect for friends and family no matter the occasion. The meal was outstanding. Chef is a culinary artist. The staff is absolutely delightful. Thank you for a wonderful experience!!

   Beautiful view. Outstanding server. Food was unremarkable area around restaurant was a little sketch. We were the only ones in the restaurant valet parking is $20 which is ridiculous. 20% gratuity is included regardless of whether you like anything or not.

    Asked for a specific table on open table app a week in advance, then also called as recommended by hostess, still didn’t get the requested table. Fake plants feel cheap. Very shoddy craftsmanship in bathrooms feel cheap. Food is not worth the very high prices. Probably won’t go back which is sad because the location is phenomenal. They put a lot of effort into their shuttle service which brings you 50 yards, but wish they could put more effort into their actual restaurant service. Needs to step up if it’s going to last.
