Waitress was awful. Ran off before she got orders from everyone. Told us how awful some of the food was. Handed hot cans of soda to the table…..

The food was excellent. The server was very friendly and knowledgeable about how the food was prepared. I would have given the server 5 stars, but she left us unattended for too long on occasion. However, I did notice that she was serving patrons on the upper level as well as in the main dining area. It appears to be a staffing problem and not totally the servers fault. The vegan option of oyster mushrooms and waffles was so very tasty (and I'm not vegan). I was unclear about the parking and ended up using the valet parking as I wasn't sure of the parking options. The website gives an accurate view of the site as well as the menu Give Mahogany River Terrace a try it was GREAT

Excellent and prompt service. The food was absolutely delicious. I will be back to try the oxtails and the catfish and shrimp.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The ambiance and food was wonderful. However, our reservation was at 7:30. We were seated by 7:40, didn’t order until 7:50. I ordered a water w/lemon and a sprite, the waitress brought me a canned sprite which was unusual for a restaurant of that caliber. We ordered appetizers which didn’t arrive until 8:57!! Over an hour after the order was placed. Our entree arrived at about 9:30 ish and grits were like a spoon full and cold but oxtails were really good. The restaurant closes at 10:00pm so everyone in there basically waited 2+ hrs for food and coincidentally we all were leaving at the same time. It’s almost as if that’s how they plan their orders. Highly unprofessional & don’t plan to return.

The view was amazing, food was great and the people were pleasant. But the service was beyond slow. Over 2 hours for dinner! And when we got our desserts mine came out 20 minutes after my husbands! And no silverware to eat it until we asked…and then plastic forks were brought!

The Absolute Best Restaurant view in Memphis. The food and service were great. I encourage visitors and especially Memphians to experience what our great city has to offer. And at night when the lights of bridge light up its just as if not more magnificent!!

My husband and I came here for our 15 year anniversary.It was so beautiful and romantic.The food was great.We will definitely be back

Nothing can beat the gorgeous views. The staff were very nice and accommodating. They welcomed us and seated us exactly where we requested. A few things of note: parking is a little confusing and $8 for an hour. I know this has nothing to do with the restaurant but definitely something to keep in mind. The restaurant has a free shuttle that goes back and forth which is super nice. The restaurant itself could do for a refresh (leather on the chairs chipping/flaking off, some plastic dishes on the table.) We got the calamari which was AMAZING, the strawberry salad, crab chowder, and two pasta dishes after being told they were out of oxtail. The soup was very good and had delicious garlic bread on the side. The pasta was good (a little salty for me but the other person I was with loved it.) Still, I don’t think the pasta was worth the price, nor the salad. I would go back for the views, but not the food.

The restaurant itself is beautiful. The food that was ordered had missing items and it was not communicated properly when that food was “out of stock” so I had very little choices and time to choose what I wanted as replacements. My reservation was for 14 but only 10 people made it so the server brings the check and says with the deposit the bill “evened out”. The deposit done ahead of time for a large party and how the check being “evened out” was miscommunicated. The server disappeared for a period of time. I requested to speak to a manager and there were 2 upstairs somewhere. He came down and spoke to me about the bill, my experience and heard my complaints. The restaurant need to train their staff what and what not say to the patrons and to be a little more engaging to the patrons even when they don’t feel like it. Although the tip is automatically included in the check you never know when someone may give extra tip for extra polite/engaging service. No manager was seen walking around interacting with the patrons. Jumbo shrimp were grilled yet greasy. Refills on water had to be requested and were limited when done. This restaurant was hyped up when originally recommended but it definitely did NOT live up to the hype. IF I go back it will be for brunch and on a different day

Everything was excellent but there were flies. Hard to really enjoy the food and atmosphere when you’re fanning away flies. But I do understand it’s that time of the year. I still plan on returning!
