The service received from the bartender was sub-standard. She did not know what she was doing for the happy hour drinks prices. Food was delicious, this was their only saving grace.

Firstly we were very disappointed when we were told immediately on being seated that we have to restrict our stay to only 30 mins. This was extremely unprofessional and quite demeaning. The food especially the Appam was half cooked and not good. Not a very pleasant Mothers’s day lunch.

Your request on (mild or moderate) spice levels is irrelevant, the food is (pre-)made to be super spicy. Service is mediocre at best - you need to ask multiple people (waitresses, hostess, manager?, busboy) to get soda, water, check etc. My Apple Watch showed 90db+ on a Tuesday evening, talk about ambience. I really wanted to like this place, but the (sub-par) service, (poorly designed restaurant) claustrophobic ambience with amplified noise and boiler-plate spicy food make it difficult to really like this place that otherwise, I think, has great potential. And Oh,…. leave as soon (within seconds) as you take care of your check lest you find other table paraphernalia (candles, glasses) on your table, courtesy of your waitress already focused on serving the next patron (their share of super spicy, unnecessarily expensive food in a noisy you-are-just-another-patron) setting.

The Andhra Gongura Chicken needed some more spice and work. The use of white chicken meat will make a big difference in some of the dishes; for example the Lasooni Chicken Tukra will taste a lot better with the use of white meat. The Attya's Pandhra Rassa Chicken Soup was very good! And so was the Malai Kofta!! I would definitely return for another round of "Mahesh's Old Fashioned" Cocktail drink!!!

I came to this restaurant on my husband’s birthday, and the food and service was outstanding. We for sure will be waiting for the next occasion to go there. We are not in the spicy side and food was good, you can choose what spicy level you want. That is a plus for me. Also you can notice the quality of the ingredients. Please keep going that way!

First time ti Mahesh's kitchen and it will not be the last. The service team was very attentive and the food was full of the flavors you expect from fine Indian fare. The setting is full of energy while allowing for each table to be intimate. Well Done.

Very spicy food. I ordered all items to be spice level “medium“ but one of them was unbearably spicy. When I told the waiter it was too spicy, he said “the kitchen would make another one that was milder, no problem.” Then the bill came out and we were charged for both items even though we only ate the one that was not spicy, which the waiter never told us would happen. All the staff that cleared our table, brought food, were very friendly and polite though. Overpriced for what I got. Won’t be back but glad I went once because I was curious.

Food was good, service was really bad, still left a decent tip for our server. We were made to wait unnecessarily for items that couldn’t be served and also waited too long for our check which was also incorrect, resulting in additional wait. Now to top it off I got an email from open table that I did not make it to our reservation which is also incorrect. I checked in when we got there. The item we couldn’t be served was served to us during our pasts visits but today after a long wait I was told they cannot make it with nuts.
