Service was attentive and friendly, we were able to be seated early without difficulty. Food was good, especially the tasty variety of tacos we had. Ambience was relaxed, nice after a busy day or driving and hiking

We've been coming here since it opened in the late 70s. It's gone through changes over the years, but there's a reason this is one of, if not the longest running eatery in Banff. The food is excellent. The service is always friendly. On this last trip, we realized that this is the only place we eat when we come!

Everything was great except the GOAT Nachos. They were basic and very dry, cheese seemed to be an afterthought. Our party of three did each enjoy the $3 Taco Tuesday and those were very good.

We thoroughly enjoyed our night out at Magpie and Stump. We were seated promptly and our server Hayley took care of us for a wonderful evening. We ordered beer from a good selection of local beers and placed our order. It was a vibrant atmosphere and we enjoyed the ambiance while waiting for our food . We chatted with Hayley who despite being very busy made time for a chat . The food arrived and was excellent although my fajitas were a little rarer than I liked that was soon remedied. The pulled pork tacos were also excellent. Nice night out.

We went to celebrate a birthday and had been many times before. The food was disappointing and soured our experience. The flavours, freshness and presentation lacked. Not sure we will return. Zero check in from staff, no replenished drinks or even a credit card machine. We finally just left cash and walked out.
