   This would be a good spot on a hot, sunny day, as it's mostly just patio space, but I wasn't overly impressed on a cloudy, chilly day. There are only 2 outdoor heaters and they're dedicated to two tables-- not even trying to heat a group of tables. Additionally, no blankets to offer which I'm surprised about because many places with large outdoor areas often offer that, especially if they don't have adequate heating. On top of that, there are aluminum chairs so there's absolutely no way you're going to be comfortable unless it's warmer. But not only that, the chairs at the tables with heaters had seat cushions! So, two tables in luxury with heaters and seat cushions, then all the other shmucks. Food was mediocre-- nothing to rave about. My mom got a burger and fries, I got chicken and biscuits, and my boyfriend got french toast. The latte he got was good and my mom and I each had beers which we enjoyed.

   Incredible find on Lake Washington. Great food. Fun atmosphere. Beautiful views of the lake. We will be back for happy hour.

   My overall rating for Magnuson Cafe & Brewery is 2/5. This was our first time at the Cafe & Brewery, so we didn’t know exactly what to expect. We got the deal on Groupon and thought it would be fun to try something new. The beer wasn’t too bad. Definitely doesn’t come close to Georgetown Brewery. The food was okay, but could be better. The pesto pita was basically just a piece of pita with pesto and cheese popped into the oven. The vegetarian burger pattie was definitely a poor quality one. I’ve bought better patties at the store! The service was really bad. After our appetizer, our main meal arrived with no silverware or napkins. We had no plates for our appetizer so just ate it off the dish it came on. Our waiter seemed a bit impatient and told us that he was getting busy so it’d be best we ordered whatever we wanted soon otherwise we were going to be waiting for a while... there were literally only 5 tables and there were other waiters too! Our food came out way faster than we expected, but wasn’t as good as we’d expect.

   This was our first time at Magnuson Café and the weather was not great. Seating for our table was open to the deck so we were very cold. The heaters were on for the tables outside but not for the tables inside. The photographs did not indicate that we would be partially outside. Our hamburgers were good but extremely messy! (too much sauce) A gluten-free bun option would be nice. We would like to return with better summer weather.

   Excellent food, ambiance and incredible views of Lake Washington. My friends and I had the French toast and avocado toast. All of them were wonderful and portion sizes were great.

   The food was just ok. I got the fish tacos and they were doused with vinegar. My husband got a burger that was over cooked and on the small side.

   The host on Saturday night was great, as we arrived 45 minutes early for our 7:30 dinner reservations. He was able to seat us right away with no wait. Family-oriented restaurant and menu choices were good.

   Nice, fun place. We sat outside on the deck on a cool night but the heaters were going and it was pleasant. Good place to go with friends and have some beers.

    It was a bit off the beaten path (we thought we had gotten lost on our way there, but we hadn’t!) but the food was great! We went on a Saturday for the brunch menu and met up with some friends. All of us enjoyed our food&drink and the service was good— friendly but not overly so (which is a good thing in my book) and our drinks remained full until we were done. I also noted (for next time) that you can bring your pup in the outside seating!
