   Magnolia Blue is one of our favorite places to dine and our experience there last evening was typically excellent. The waitstaff were gregarious and attentive, enhancing our time there. We look forward to going back soon.

   The MG chicken was a absolutely delicious. I highly recommend the peach cobbler for dessert because it's worth the wait. Our server was perfect and took wonderful care of us.

   Tonight was my 1st visit & definitely my last. I was so excited to try this restaurant after hearing everyone rave about it, but I was beyond disappointed. Other than the oyster appetizer, the food was not good. My prime rib came out rare and was barely edible. Every piece had to be chewed and chewed and chewed even more just to get it swallowed. I couldn’t even eat more than 6-7 bites before I just gave up. My husband’s prime rib came out good, a little dry, but he did say most of it would melt in your mouth. That wasn’t the case with mine as mine was as tough as shoe leather. Every other table around us were brought bread to the table. We were never even offered bread nor did our server ask if we wanted bread. I ordered dessert since I was still hungry and basically had no dinner that was edible. I ordered the peach cobbler and my husband ordered the salted caramel cookie that came in a skillet. He said his was delicious. I found maybe 2-3 small peach slices in mine; the rest was all bread, so I basically had a bread bowl with a scoop of ice cream for dessert. And when it came time to pay the bill, the server couldn’t believe I was unhappy and said, “Well I can ask and see if the manager will take some off your bill, he’s very generous.” I told her, no we just wanted to pay our bill in full. We paid our bill in full and left a good tip. When the server brought our card back, she wouldn’t even look at us. She said have a good night and couldn’t get away from the table fast enough. We will NOT be back again. Very disappointing meal & restaurant was certainly not all it was hyped up to be.

    Food was so so, Pot Roast was the best thing at the Table! Apps looked like a 5th Grader made them! Waitress was nice but service was a notch above Fast Food. They were not busy so it should have been better, overpriced and underdelivered!

    Dinner there on an early Wednesday evening. Loved the decor. Ate at a table in the bar area. Delicious Shrimp Pasta. The Grilled Salmon was cooked well beyond the requested medium-rare, but had a delicious flavor. Deserts of Chocolate Torte and Lemon Tart were both a treat. Service was prompt and there were no long waits.

    Too noisy. Too dark. Hard to get into the building for elderly people. Took at least a half hour to get our food. Barely any crab on my biscuit. Waitress was a bit snippy.

    I met a friend for Brunch Saturday Morning. The first few minutes were really nice, then a musician set up 5 feet from us. We couldn’t hear one another for the next 45 minutes while we ate. The musician was good, but maybe not for a Saturday morning. Also, I wish I had been offered space in the other dining room. The food was good. We had the crab omelet. With so many great options to eat brunch in the area, it may be sometime before I return to give it another try.

    Great food and drinks! It was a little dark in the dining room for brunch so we didn’t really enjoy that. We felt it was more appropriate for a date night setting. The server didn’t visit the table often but she was kind. The manager stopped by and asked about our experience, which I always find really nice. We will be back to try dinner!

    My ribs were outstanding as usual. My wife ordered the burger medium rare and it came medium well to well done which she could not finish. On the occasions we've been there the manager is always going from table to table to check on the food and service. When he came to our table we voiced our concern with the burger and he offered to make good on it which my wife, being more tired than hungry, declined. The only other comment was that we were seated in the bar area between what appeared to be members of a college athletic team with their coach (?) and an 8 or 10 top with some very chatty ladies making it very difficult to carry on our conversation. However, the consistently good service and excellent food will keep us coming back.
