   This is an excellent Italian place tucked away in the hills of NC just a few minutes from Clayton Georgia—I had the Trout dish and polenta and it was superb! Very friendly service BYOB

   We both started with a Caesar salad. Would have expected some shaved Parmesan and the offer of anchovies at a restaurant like this, but we were not. I had the special which was Veal osso bucco.  it tasted more like pot roast came with some tough broccolini and a tablespoon of risotto for $49.00.  Hubby had a stuffed grouper with scallops and shrimp, which was tasty and we had a piece of raspberry cheesecake, which was good, but I go back. I don’t know. I’m on the fence.

   Tiny hole in the wall restaurant in Scaly Mtn, NC. Top chef who came from the highly rated Paoletti’s in Highlands, NC. Food was wonderful and service excellent! So thankful to have this special place close by!

   This was our second time to eat here and it was amazing. The best bruschetta I’ve ever had. We will definitely be back.

   Our second time dining here and the food is so good!! The Chef/Owner was very friendly and offered great suggestions. We had the Osso Buco, Veal Piccata, Stuffed Grouper and Tortellini and all were delicious. A caramel creme brulee was a perfect final touch. It is a small restaurant with some outside seating so reservations are a must. Very important information: BYOB!!
