   We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Magissa, and we will be back. The cocktails were AMAZING. I may return just to sit at the bar and have a cocktail and a mezze plate. The food was delicious and we thought reasonably priced compared to other Portland restaurants. Service very attentive. Can't go wrong. Fun vibe, as well.

   Moussaka is only served on Sunday so we had to give it a try. BEST I have had outside of Greece.

   It's great to have a good Greek restaurant in Portland again. The food was very good, loved the Paros Chicken and the beet dip. Our waiter was terrific. Nice vibe. We'll be back!

   Second time eating here. Really enjoyed the food, and the service was terrific - low-key but very helpful. Highly recommend!

   Love it - fav new restaurant- went five times in 8 days and zero complaints- plan to go every Sunday night for takeout and will dine in many more times too - bartender, all staff and Molly are incredible!!

   On a rainy spring evening in Portland, Magissa's bright and charming space was a nice reprieve. Our table was the closest to the hostess stand, which would not have been an issue, except that a person was being trained and we were close enough to join in that training (a bit distracting). Beyond that, we had a very good meal, including original cocktails, spanakopita appetizer (four were perfect to share between two), lamb gyros, and perhaps our favorite menu item - roasted carrots. We will definitely be back! Maybe next time we'll pick up a couple tasty gyros to take to the Eastern Promenade, once summer arrives. Bon appetite!

    Magissa is amazing! Food is creative yet traditional, and the quality is top notch. Authentic taste; the chefs are to be commended. Service was wonderful! Arrangements made through Open Table were efficient and thorough. I was impressed with the professional tone and kindness received when interacting with the staff, both before we arrived and during our meal. Thank you! Please stay in business!
