Excellent food- a hard find in Kona- and perfect location. The staff is friendly and fast. This is a great date night or special occasion place
Great dining choice in the middle of Alii' Drive! My wife needs to be gluten free and many of their entrees were of that nature. Ambiance was great - watching the surfers while we ate was a special treat! Only negative was that some of their deep fried items were somewhat "greasy".
Amazing veggie benedict and my Bloody Mary was perfect.
Good food great place great view costs in line with Kona ! Wanted to go again but dinner was a two hour wait so passed and drove to tommy bahama ! It was a wait and drive ...:
Great service. Pricey but tasty ono tacos. Lavaman from Kona Brewery on tap. Beach lanai dining very comfortable. Hawaiian music would have been nice but the oldies mix was lively.
Yet another amazing meal, sunset and service at Magics! The team has mastered their craft and consistently provide a wonderful experience in a Magical setting!
Really enjoyed the mushroom pasta with ono and my husband enjoyed the fish and chips. Garlic shrimp appetizer was also good as was the mangotini cocktail special. We'll be back to try additional items on the menu for that gorgeous View!

Great views. Good drinks. Their tap was not working and they were out of a few things but, all that means nothing because I had the most lush French toast on the planet!
If you want to try authentic island cuisine that hasn’t been tampered with from a “tourists’ point of view”, do not eat here.
Their dishes had a lot of flavors, but didn’t blend together. Their food and sauces were very interesting, and not in a good way.
Hubby and I, one appetizer and an entree each. $80 we were not happy about spending.

Great views of the sunset from the patio. A neighboring group of diners were pretty rowdy, but we ignored them. Food was delicious.
Food exceeded expectations and we were pleasantly surprised by the serving sizes. The service was warm and attentive. Highly recommend the brunch.
Lovely outdoor dining with yummy food. We had a table right by the crashing surf. Came here the day after Christmas and it was busy. There was some confusion about getting us to the right table, and initially, the host neglected to give us menus when we were seated. However, they corrected the problems. I had the Poke Nachos as my meal. It was huge and delicious. So much food I couldn’t finish. My husband had the ahi steak and loved it. Great place for tourists.

Great view. Terrific wait service. A restaurant that really cares about doing it Right!
Nice selection of entrees. Would be nice to have more options for pupus. Chocolate Lava cake is delicious. No one would know it is gluten free!
Made reservations a week in advance and planned it specifically to watch sunset from a rail seat only to not be given a rail seat but given a table with a minimal view
It then took someone almost 20 minutes to come over and greet us and then another 15 minutes to get our beverages
The service was slow and spotty and from ordering to food arrival to drink arrival
A chicken wing special was ordered and one of the wings was not cooked thoroughly
Aside from above the rest of the items ordered were good to great but sadly the poor service and crappy seating dampened the evening

The service was excellent, but everything else was kind of a mess. We were seated outside and it started to rain really hard. We got wet, and the food got wet even though we were under umbrellas. We were moved to another table where it was dry, and the staff remade our food. The food was so/so and pretty expensive ($24 for a burger!). We're going to give it another try, hopefully when there's not heavy rain.

We had the best table in the house! Thomas provided excellent, accurate, and professional service. Our party of 5 enjoyed pupus, main dishes, and desserts. The creme brulee was really good! We were especially delighted with the high surf that put on a show for us that evening. Highly recommend!
Best meal this trip. Pork Belly perfectly cooked. Cocktails delicious. Location superb. So good we went back the very next day. Highly recommended.

It's hard to pick if the food or the team members are the best part of Magic's, as they are both amazing! From the moment you arrive at the host stand until you leave with a wonderfully full belly, Magic's lives Aloha and exceeds expectations!

We ordered red wine and it came out cold, we asked for glass of warm wine and the staff were awesome and made it all good, mahalo

My experience was ok. I’m not a chef but I can definitely make better ahi nachos at home that are loaded with poke (these are not) for about the same price- there was probably about 5 times the amount of edamame beans compared to poke. The fish sandwich was good. Drink pours seemed weak too which is lame because I’m by the beach and ordered a drink and not a juice. Would probably come back for a beer but that’s about it.

Terribly understaffed right now. It took over 30 minutes before we even got water and then another 20 minutes before we could order drinks.
