Came back to see changes having been away for 12+ years because of bad experiences. Love the new layout, the live singer; welcoming and attentive staff; loved the food. Warm and friendly atmosphere. ‘40’s vibes are great for me, know all the music. My filet was tender and perfectly cooked. The cheesecake was superb. I hate to order cheesecake and it tastes like Sara Lee just barely thawed.This was high, light and delicious. Haven’t had a better cheesecake ever. All in all a perfect experience. Will definitely be back!!

Alphonso was a wonderful server who helped us and Edward the manager did a great job as well. The folks at the table next to us were unhappy with their food and sent back everything they ordered. They also couldn’t believe the restaurant didn’t have sweet red wine to serve them. Alphonso and Edward went above and beyond to appease this group. Never seen so many hoops jumped through for folks who had no idea how good they had it. We ordered the same food as them and loved every bite. We’ll definitely be back as soon as we can. Super special atmosphere feels like you went back in time. Fantastic dining experience.

Overall a wonderful dining experience. We had reservations at 6pm for 4 people. We were asked if we minded sitting by the live music. We were fine with that and were seated in front of the live Frank Sinatra look alike with a wonderful voice and "show". It was a bit louder than anticipated but still enjoyable and our server Amy was great too!! Very attentive and yet not over the top. Just a suggestion to the hostess I know she was dealing with some type of seating issue with another group but once finished it would have been nice for her to make eye contact with me and acknowledge my presence I think she was a bit frustrated with what ever was going on so I get it but customer service is king especially at a place so very nice as this. It was a lovely dining experience with some great friends who drove up from OC to enjoy this iconic dining location. Will definitely be back and hopefully will get to check out the garden area too! A historical dining location not to be missed

Food was good, the steak was tasty, but a little too much garlic for my taste. The steak was way over cooked for my liking. I had asked for medium well a little more on the medium side. And my steak was well done.

Me and my husband decided to try the Magic Lamp Inn for our anniversary dinner, and we were blown away by the service, food and ambience. We will definitely be coming back. I recommend this restaurant to everyone if you have a special occasion to celebrate or would just like a nice Dinner. They also have the magical gardens in the back, which is a totally different vibe but a nice casual relaxing open space for drinks.

Service was slow and unattentive, staff needs to work on being more personable. Beautiful restaurant, love the decor, live music was a hit. Food was amazing.

Another great time splurging on a luxe family dinner. We have going for decades and it’s always a treat. The lobster mac is incredible.
