Another great time splurging on a luxe family dinner. We have going for decades and it’s always a treat. The lobster mac is incredible.

Had a 5:30 reservation and was seated immediately. I had filet mignon which was cooked to perfection. My wife had rack of lamb which she loved. The highlight of the evening was our server, Lynn. She is an absolute treasure. He Sinatra impersonater was very talented and added a touch of nostalgia to the evening. Will defiantly be back.

we came to the magic lamp to celebrate an anniversary and the ambiance was amazing. The staff was very polite and quick with any needs. The singer and the magician that were there for entertainment were not short of amazing. The food was fantastic and I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fantastic dinner.

We just rediscovered the Magic Lamp under new ownership and it is fantastic. Everything we ordered was excellent along with the ambiance and Frank Sinatra impersonator, which completed a great evening. Edward and his staff will exceed your expectations. I’ve been longing for an upscale restaurant that this area desperately needs. Please support such a difficult industry. Well worth the experience. PCS

What an amazing dinner we had here! The place has been entirely spruced up but kept its charm and stayed true to its roots. The decor is cleaned up but will be familiar to anyone who had been in any of the Clearmans restaurants. We ordered the wedge, which had a nice thick bacon on it. We also had the French onion soup- would have preferred Gruyère cheese to the Swiss that they used. Nice bread basket with several options, a pretzel bread, a brown bread and poppy seed rolls. We ordered the surf and turf (which we split). Steak was done perfectly and was plenty to share, we had some to bring home. Not a lot of “surf” on the plate, but the 2 prawns that it came with were cooked perfectly. We finished it off with cheesecake, which was wonderful. They have just opened a beautiful bar and patio soace behind the restaurant that we will try next time- it looked like an awesome place for a cocktail or dinner. They have a performer every night- Frank Sinatra, Elvis…the night we were there they had a very nice singer. The restaurant itself is quiet, which is so rare now and something that we value when we go out for a nice meal. I hope they keep it that way. We will be sure to be back and I’ve been recommending it ever since our visit.

The service was superb…wish I could say the same about the food. My shrimp bisque and Chilean sea bass were very good, but my wife’s French onion soup was terrible…way too much salt, and this was confirmed by the chef. He rack of lamb was terrible! Four of the pieces were fat and bone with no meat. All the pieces looked like they had been carelessly tossed on the plate. Neither entree plate was well arranged. I have very fond memories of Magic Lamp Inn dating back to the mid-1960s. Even our last visit several years ago was memorable. Last night was a very bad, and the meals weren’t anywhere near what we’d come to expect from Magic Lamp Inn. It definitely wasn’t worth the price we paid. We won’t be back. One good thing. Our server Lynn was superb!

After it's recent refurbishment and relaunch, the Magic Lamp has returned to it's former excellence. We had a drink in the bar before dinner in the main dining room. The fillet mignon was perfectly done, our dietary requests were honored, the noise level was enough to feel some energy but not loud. We were able to avoid a table by the Elvis impersonator (we wanted to talk to each other) without issue. We've had dinner in the bar a few weeks ago and that was excellent too with a limited and cheaper menu and no reservation required. It's definitely more expensive than other places but at least not it's worth it.

We went to Magic Lamp yesterday to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary. The staff was so amazing, welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious! We started off with the prawns for an appetizer. Then we had the New York Strip and Lamb. Both were cooked to our liking. We also had dessert. We ordered the Birds Milk. It was so good. One of my favorites of the night. I also ordered the French Martini. I liked it so much I ordered two. We also enjoyed the live music. We would definitely come back. We would recommend to anyone!
