Maggiano's - Memorial
Great food, service and value. What more can you ask, we will definitely be back.
The service was horrible.
Not sure what happened but my drink was served with a rolled up napkin in it , very disturbing specially because I had already had a sip or 2 when I noticed napkin, guess they don’t wash glasses after every use .. watch out ! food was good but not sure I would go back to this location. We got an “apology “ from manager . 😠🤢
Great as always!
Food was great as usual. Service was mediocre: server was slow, inattentive and abrupt. The restaurant wasn’t busy and there appeared to be more than enough servers, so the poor service isn’t easily explained.
Maggiano’s should be more informative about the family style menu and how much food it really is. They should not encourage large parties to order this way without really being honest about how much food it is. We had several young kids in our party and should have been allowed to order a kids meal or nothing for them and just ordered family style for the adults. It is an almost wasteful amount of food that is served, no one can eat that much and we left so much food uneaten. We had enough food served for 3 times the size of our party without any caution from the waitstaff and the menu asks you to order family style for parties of 6 or more. It was expensive and wasted which made our visit pretty unsatisfying.
Love this place for date night. We are on the email list so so we usually get a coupon which was used for this night. Service was great and the food is amazing. Love the meal deal you always leave with bags full of food! Definitely our favorite date night go to.
Waited for some time for someone to take our order. Finally, someone had to ask. The manager was very nice. The food was not good. Nothing was warm enough. Most of our large party did not care for the food - even the kids. Disappointing experience
It was New Year eve, so the place was definitely packed. Our server did an excellent job of making sure we had everything we needed. The food was delicious and the wine was refreshing. Our server Kristi did an outstanding job attending to us and other patrons!!!! Great job Maggiano's!
New Year’s Eve
Server Gabriel was awesome attentive but not overly so. Calamari was perfect. Drinks - my martinis- great. Entrees great except for friends chicken in her Mediterranean Southside spaghetti was a little dry. Otherwise amazing everything else.
The brunch was decent but not one to recommend to friends .
Waitress was awful.
First time ever to be disappointed with Maggianos. Service was extremely slow, dessert was terrible.
Recommend other than holiday time. Our service was absolutely horrible as didn’t see a waitstaff for first 30 minutes nor had silverware or napkins. The first waitress to come along was rude and offered only bread. The food was fine and once another waiter came into sight things picked up.
One thing you can say about Maggianos is that food and service is reliable
Great food as usual however service was spottier than usual. Still am enjoyable dinner and great food.
I was very disappointed as I have been to this Maggiano's several times in the past and always received excellent service and food. It was disappointing to hear a dispute in the kitchen, receive less than adequate attention from our server and receive the wrong take-home order. Everyone in our party was disappointed in the quality of the food. I hope this was just a one-off as I believe Maggiano's is a great restaurant.
Maggiano's is always good and always has good promotions. The apple dessert is amazing.
Great food, served hot and delicious, service was wonderful, for a Sunday with lots of party’s going on everything was still wonderful.
Poor service and cold food and not good tasting waited way too long for anything
A lot of holiday parties there so service was a little slow at the beginning. It got better halfway thru our mealtime
There was a private party at one end of the dining room with a DJ yelling out numbers over a microphone, which was totally annoying. Our waitress ignored us to where the manager had to take our drink order. She forgot to bring our salads and brought them with our entrees. She said she would take them off the bill, which she didn’t, because someone else had to bring us the check.
We had many good experiences at Maggianos but this was horrible.
I have eaten at Maggiano's many times and the food did not disappoint. My only comment is that they were not that busy, but it took a long time for the drinks and food to arrive. The food was hot and delicious when it came.
I was looking forward to my first visit to Maggiano's Memorial. A friend had recommended the restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner. Our table was not ready for our 6:30 reservation for over 10 minutes. When we were seated it took 10 minutes for a server to take our drink order and 10 additional minutes for the beer and wine to arrive at our table. The restaurant was busy, noisy and the servers seemed extremely busy and stressed. We were told our server was busy and were served by at least three other employees. We weren't sure who to ask for if we needed help. We ended up getting silverware from another table because we had none when our food started coming out of the kitchen. We never received our sides and had to ask twice before they were delivered. The tilapia and ravioli were good and served at the proper temperature. The turkey, white potatoes, dressing and creamed spinach were barely warm and lacked flavor They were out of one of our dessert selections. No one checked back with us to see how our food was or if we needed anything. Our bill, including two happy hour drinks was $95, it would have been $105 but I had a $10 coupon. This was not a good value. I was very disappointed because I was looking forward to trying a new restaurant and this was supposed to be a special holiday meal. I won't be returning any time soon and do not feel comfortable recommending this restaurant to friends or family
This was our third straight year enjoying Thanksgiving dinner at the Memorial location. It’s become a small family tradition for us. The service level is always high, and the food this year seemed to exceed last years rich flavors. We’ve dined at the Galleria location a couple of years, then stopped coming, and cooked ourselves. With the Memorial locations proximity to the Memorial City mall, and with it being closer to home, we’ve developed a new appreciation for the experience here. Thank you for having us again!
My uncle and I went there for thanksgiving. We were seated right away which was great. Our waitress was great. I liked how the chef came out and helped my uncle order, who has celiac. I think the food sat in the kitchen too long. It wasn’t super hot when it came out. Dinner took almost two and a half hours. I feel like that was a little too long. Chef said she would put the stuffing on the side for me and did not.
Food was really good, service was awesome. Would definitely recommend, plus would go back again on thanksgiving day.
Excellent experience. Recommend Maggiano to everyone.
Great Thanksgiving Day Dinner and Experience!
Plenty of food and good service!
It was a great place to go for thanksgiving! I would definitely consider going there again for the next holiday!
Thanksgiving luncheon was a wonderful experience.
Food was fantastic. The area i was placed in the temperature was so cold i had to leave my coat on the entire time i ate. Mind you it was 45 degrees outside. My waiter was very slow in service, but the tables around us were getting helped very quickly.
So my dining experience this visit was okay. We were greeted right away upon entering the restaurant & escorted to our table. Our server was very polite. Young, didn't know his drink menu but overall polite. My daughter & I both ordered the Rigatoni D her's without onions. That was not paid attention to. She didn't want it sent back so she ate it. My Caprese salad was fabulous! My other two kids enjoyed there spaghetti & meatballs very much. When it came to boxing up the leftovers it was a complete mess. Everything was mixed up. My only major complaint was that it was my daughters 13th birthday & that was specified upon making the reservation. She was not acknowledged or nothing of the sort of a birthday dessert. There was no table touches with management checking on everything. This visit Maggiano's dropped the ball but it's fine. Next birthday celebration will be somewhere else.
Food is too rich, too American, not really Italian.
it was amazing
The atmosphere was great but I didn't care for the food that much. I've been to the Galleria location and the food was delicious. I'm not sure why it would taste different at the memorial location though. Overall nice restaurant, but I'd recommend the Galleria location over this one.
