Maggiano's - Memorial
We had a wonderful experience at Maggiano's Memorial City. Our party sized doubled at the last minute and the staff was so accommodating. Ed was wonderful!
Great place, awesome service and delicious food. Had reservations and we were seated in no time.
The Best food in Houston. Great Easter Brunch, love all the food items. We had time in between each course to enjoy each other as well.
Food was pretty good. Hardly any shrimp in the Tuscan shrimp and chicken dish. Salad had way too many onions. Chicken Marsala tasted like pressed and formed chicken as it was very thin and chewy. Service took forever. Our food sat and got cold before it was served, including appetizer, dinner and dessert courses. It took us over 3.5 hours to eat our brunch. Had to ask and wait for tea and coffee refills. I know it was Easter but I’ve had better service at Thanksgiving and other holiday meals at the restaurant in the past.
Very nice place and good service. Waitress was very nice.
Love this place bc of the good food, but it was even better bc of the great service.
Service was not great. Never offered dessert.
Two of 6 entrees were not correct. The hand cut fettuccine was delicious. Was excited to try the restaurant but overall disappointed. Worth giving another shot.
Great! Very friendly servers and staff.
The service and food was excellent. The reservation was at 7:00 on a Saturday and was busy and a little noisy. The restaurant was not as crowded at 8:00 and will go a little later in the future to avoid the crowd.
I ate like a pig.
From the appetizer all the way to the heavenly sent GIGI butter cake.
Tim, the server, was above any ordinary server.
He showed us the menu pointing out his personal favorites alongside With people’s favorite. Making our first experience their that much easier.
I’m just 5’8 weighing 140 when wet, but as each plate came along it was hard to say no.
For the amount of food your getting at the price their at you’ll feel to ask yourself... Olive Garden who?
The pricing is just astronomical. You’ll feel a little rebel side eating here as you feel like your stealing food as you’ll have more on your plate than you can eat.
It was ok. Service really sucked and waited too long for drinks, entree’s and other small things. The place wasn’t that busy as well.
Maggiano's is always one of my favorites! Delicious food & a wonderful environment is the c perfect combination for a family celebration!
To start, our reservation was at 6:30p on a Wednesday night. Arrived at 6:05p and noticed only two customers in the dining room. We were told our table for 7 was not ready. We sat in the bar awaiting our table. At 6:30p we were seated, still very few customers in the restaurant. Ordered family style. Everything tasted extremely mediocre. Food barely warm and overcooked. Told server food not hot and was given additional Alfredo sauce for the pasta. 5 of the 7 of us ate some of the fettuccini Alfredo. We all got sick within a couple of hours of leaving the restaurant. Odd the restaurant would serve Alfredo that obviously was not freshly made considering the kitchen was not pressed for time. Like I said, hardly any customers there. Maybe management changed and word got out that this place isn't as good as it used to be. I didn't get the memo!
Called manager (Manny) in the morning and was told he would talk to HIS boss who was on sight. He would call me back. He never did.
Extremely disappointed that a known chain restaurant would serve below par food and risk illness in their customers!
Waiter was very attentive and food was prepared withing a reasonable time frame.
If you can spare the extra time to travel to the Post Oak location, do it. Although the food and value is always good, the location and atmosphere do not compare to the other Houston location.
Everything was fabulous! The Chef, Alex went over and beyond to accommodate my food allergies!!!! She didn’t make me uncomfortable and or embarrassed of my food allergies! We will be back for sure!!!
Overall very good experience. Quality food. Maegan was our waitress. She was AWESOME! We arrived quite late but she was very energetic and attentive. She made our night special.
We had a 5:15 reservation, we arrived at 5, we were seated at 5:45 after having to ask twice to be seated. They were not overly busy that early I really did not understand what the delay was. Our waiter Noah was super friendly and attentive. The food was slightly above average that day. It definitely wasn't as good as it normally is. Hopefully next time is a better experience.
Very bad experience with drinks served by the bar! My husband ordered a grey goose tonic, east on ice! All he gets is a half full glass with 3 pieces of ice floating on top! He has to go to the bar himself to explain what should be included in the drink!
IT WAS GREAT, AS ALWAYS! WE WERE THERE EARLY, SO THE NOISE LEVEL WAS OKAY.
Went for brunch with a group of friends and large portions, good options, drinks were fantastic. Did not hear a complaint from any one in our group. Our server was great.
The only reason I’m giving this a 2 star overall is because of the hostess! We had a reservation and arrived right on time. They gave our table to another party bc the other party didn’t like the location of their table. They then proceeded to give us that other party’s table. It was right by the front door and had so much traffic we couldn’t enjoy dinner. The waitstaff were constantly hitting our chairs and carrying large trays of food over our heads.
Before they sat us I asked for a different table seeing that this location was horrible and they told me all the other tables were reserved for a party. However as the night went on the other tables filled with non party goers.
The cherry on top the cake was the kid’s menu - the paper was completely black. They had made copies of the original menus and some employee thought it looked fine. Couldn’t read 1 item to order for my child.
The only positive was our waiter. He worked his tail off and made sure everything was perfect!
This was our first brunch at Maggiano’s! The food was hot and delicious. The service was excellent.
Small tables for families of 7
Great food and service. Manager was the best. Best night to go is Monday.
Celebrating a birthday with family and it was great
Amazing service!!! Amazing food!!! The family style was a great value. We had so much food to take back home!
The food was really good but the service was not that great. It seems that they are short on staff that we had to wait a long time to get our order taken and get refills on our beverages.
Birthday celebration for friend food was excellent and amazing value
Busy Saturday night but thanks to the reservation we were walked straight to our table. The waitstaff was very pleasant and visited us several times. it was a birthday celebration for us so they even provide some cookies with a candle or two.
The food was quite nice as we had a variety of pasta dishes.
We would return.
I don’t live close enough to a Maggiano’s to eat there regularly, in fact I waited 3 long years to make this evening possible. The food was just “ok”. I remembered so much more yum factor and was disappointed in my visit. I certainly expected more than a high priced Olive Garden. That being said I will go back with the hopes that it was just an off night. Maybe try a different location.
Maggiano's @ Memorial City has really improved. We travelled there from Montgomery, TX; the ambience is top quality; the noise is almost non-existent; a truly a great dining experience; and the overall experience is worth anyone's travel and time; and, the food as always is superb.
Compared to the River Oaks, this was okay. Wait staff could’ve been better.
Great. Server didn’t acknowledge the birthday after being asked.
Our waiter was extremely helpful and accomnadating. Food was excellent.
Very nice and considerate of my toddler. I wish someone checked in while eating. I had to look around and wait to flag down a waiter for more bread.
We love the pasta deal and enjoyed our meal. Our waiter we very attentive as we never ran out of water or tea. As always the food was amazing and more than enough.
I brought 3 other couples with my husband and myself. Love your happy hour in the entire restaurant until 7pm. We arrived at 5pm and the only complaint would be we were seated right in the entry of the restaurant, so it was very busy around our table. With early reservations, we should have been given a quieter table. The manager did come by and gave the other 3 couples a gift card and cookies, a nice touch.
We opted for the family style service. There were five of us and we each had one drink. The cost was $325.00. We took six people to Damian’s a six weeks ago. We each had a drink. The cost was $350.00. The food was superb. Granted Maggiano’s provided a lot of food, actually more than we could eat. The food was “not bad” and the service was good. The morale of the story is - don’t order family style and you will have a pretty good meal with good service.
I’ve been in other locations and food didn’t meeet my expectations this time. The waitress was interrupting us all the time. That was so annoying. The tiramisu was perfect and so the doppio expresso.
