   We absolutely loved the food. Wait staff was very helpful. We will definitley eat there again

   We waited approximately seven minutes before anyone ever greeted us. We had waiting staff pass us and never say "hi I'll be with you in a moment" or "thank you for your patience." Another couple had waited so long ahead of us before they were greeted they ended up leaving the restaurant. Having said that that was the worst part of the whole evening. Once we were seated our waiter was fantastic and attentive and the food was spot on I would go back again just disappointed in customer service to begin with.

   I probably will never buy food from Magenta again. It was extremely mediocre, especially for the price. The menu is not descriptive AT ALL... so make sure you know what you are ordering. The service was also not awesome. We made an online reservation earlier that day, and when we showed up we were ignored for quite a while, without any sort of acknowledgment from the staff other than awkwardly gazing at us from afar. When a waitress approached us I told her that I made a reservation for two earlier that day. She checked the schedule, and did not find my name. It turns out they do not regularly check their online reservations. They immediately attempted to blame me and by presuming that I made the reservation right before showing up... which was not true, I made the reservation 5 hours in advance and even received a confirmation email... but apparently that's not enough time for them to check? The only reason I would go back to Magenta is for their bar. Their drinks are alright, but after my experience I feel less inclined to even want to show up for that.

   Quaint spot in the middle of a college town. Trying to spin itself as a top flight restaurant. Dinner menu consists of appetizers. While good, nothing to brag about and rather expensive for the size of plates you receive. Drink list was good, but better spots in Corvallis to wine and dine, that won't cost you an arm and a leg. This spot trying to establish itself as a trendy location, in a college town that isn't swanky or full of billionaires.

   Wow...we stopped in on a whim really..not knowing the Valentines Day menu was limited...but OMG!!! We had possibly the best beef tenderloin of our lives! Soo good. The service was very pleasant and swift. We will be back for sure!

   There were so many wonderful flavors. Everything was amazing. The best meal I have had in a long time.

   I reserved a table two weeks in advance and actually arrived night of a little late, but a couple of my guests were already there and the table was all set for a group of ten. Magenta was the perfect choice for a small-ish birthday. Service was wonderful, and the extensive list of tapas was just what I wanted for my guests' diverse tastes! It's one of my favorite places in Corvallis. It's always a treat to go to Magenta!

    There were four of us, and we each ordered about three or four off the Dim Sum menu and shared. The server told us when a dish was too small to serve four and so we ordered two of that one. The black and white rice balls were a nice surprise - order two! (Soup is hard to divide up) The larger the group, the more dished you get to taste!
