Maeve is a wine bar.
We are open 7 days from 4pm daily serving until midnight. Our European inspired menu offers snacks and shared plates, or something more substantial, and our beautiful heritage space offers bar seating and dining room options. We take reservations but you are welcome to walk in any time! Come find us on the corner of Melbourne and Grey Streets upstairs at 39 Melbourne St, South Brisbane.
At Maeve, we take wine seriously so you don’t have to. The wines we offer are the wines we like to drink. Our dynamic and ever-changing list has a focus on smaller producers who have integrity about what they do from all the corners of the wine making globe. There are many wines available by the glass, making it easy to try something new. We have an approachable every day wine list, a seriously celebratory reserve wine list and we also offer beer, spirits, cocktails and non-alcoholic options - Maeve has something for everyone.

This little beauty never disappoints! The service from start to finish, the cuisine, the wines... Maeve is now our go-to venue whenever we're in town for QPAC performances. Bravo!

We had the most wonderful evening!! Service of floor staff was the perfect balance and professional. Upon arrival it was busy and very noisy but as majority of theatre crowd left, the acoustics improved. The food was outstanding and everything that we chose from the menu was perfect. The scorched meringue dessert exceeded our expectations! We will be regular diners.
