Enjoy the Madrone Winery Experience on San Juan Island! Are you interested in learning more about wine and cider production, all while enjoying a wine tasting with the winemaker? If so, we have the island experience you’re looking for! Join winemaker and owner Shaun Salamida for an exclusive tour and tasting at the Madrone winery, located in the San Juan Valley. Surrounded by Land Bank preserved land, the winery shares space with Island Haven Animal Sanctuary. We renovated the interior of two historical farm buildings, where we produce all of our products. Production and the barrel room reside in our original winery, and as of 2021, our inventory and dry storage resides in a separate historical building. Your experience includes a tasting under the heritage apple trees on property and an educational tour of the winery. Winery experience is available year round. As an outdoor experience on a working farm, please dress accordingly.

Join us for an evening at the winery as we celebrate the local harvest. Sit under the 100-year-old heritage apple trees and enjoy dinner by Salmonberry Catering, paired with wines by Madrone. Expect a menu featuring locally sourced and seasonal ingredients, paired with Madrone's newest releases. After dinner, you can join a tour of the Madrone winery with owners Shaun and Amy Salamida, and sample from the vintages aging in barrel.
