   The noise level is off the charts. We were able to sit outside and still had to shout to hear each other. Food is fabulous, but portions are small and it’s pricey. Food also was not paced and mostly brought all at once, so we felt rushed. Servers kept trying to take our plates away even with food left, and/or while we were chewing. I’d return for the food and give it one more chance, but PLEASE TURN DOWN THE MUSIC and don’t rush people!

   Love the layout and vibe of this place. I believe around 8 they had some live music going on. The food was delicious and the service was great.

   Beautiful restaurant, excellent service and delicious food and drinks. Ambience was perfect, great vibe, friendly service, and a lovely spot for a night out.

   Good food but not outstanding. Pricey. The noise level was so high my watch warned me about the decibel level and I left with a headache. Can’t hear anyone talk. Not for me

   I planned a dinner at Madre Selva with a party of 5 and everyone enjoyed themselves. The food was very good and fresh. I will definitely go back soon.

   Don't redeem an OpenTable gift card here! They refused to accept it and were incredibly rude about it. When I made suggestions of how it works they said they couldn't do any of them. All they would say is "What I am trying to tell you....", "I'm trying to explain to you....." They said they get them all the time, but they kept asking for my personal zip code, when the zip code is right on the virtual gift card so they clearly don't know how they work. Service was awful. Not only were they rude with trying to use the gift card, they also rolled their eyes, and were clearly gossiping behind the bar as they looked right at us. They also were continually coming to the table. It felt like every 5 minutes they were interrupting to take plates and ask if everything was ok, yet when we actually needed something (friend wanted to know pricing, gift card issues etc) they provided no service. I was way early and was told I could be seated when I was just going to walk around. The waiter came over and when I said I was going to wait for my group and that the hostess just said I could be seated early, he looked at his watch and walked away. We never had that server again and the hostess was our main server for some reason. Portions are small.The Lomo Saltado was about 4 or 5 small pieces of meat with a few chunks of vegetables. Luckily I liked mine, but my friend's meat was so bad she couldn't even swallow it and had to spit it out on her plate. The server looked right at the discarded meat, took the plate without even asking if anything was wrong. For the price go somewhere else and get a full steak!! We wanted dessert, but paying $15 and getting a few bites of food wouldn't have been a good way to end the night. We went to cheesecake factory instead. Service was so much better. The only positive of Madre Selva is the atmosphere is a cool vibe, but I would never go there again. The level of service does not match the prices.

    We had a wonderful meal at Madre Selva. Alberto was fantastic and provided such a wonderful experience. The food was delicious. The ceviches were so fresh and flavorful. I would definitely recommend giving it a try.
