Madisons Pub & Grill
Great spot for lunch. And the pot pie is fabulous.
Our waitress was excellent. Dinner was very tasty. It's really easy to get enticed into more appetizers and desserts than anticipated because they are SO good, my bill is always higher than I expect because of the fantastic choices.
Great maple Old Fashions and the food was awesome too. Great date place.
Great service, wish they would either have specials or something different on the menu. Looking for more healthier meals but can’t expect too much based on the fact that it is more of a bar than restaurant.
Our first time there we were pleasantly surprised to find the food was way above standard bar fare food. We have return now for a second time and found the quality of food in service to be outstanding we will be coming back many more times in the future. Recommend the Cioppino and the steak sandwich.
Our waitress was fantastic and I haven't had an excellent Juicy Lucy burger since they were franchise in Florida in the 80's.
A varied menu, very good wine and cocktail menu, friendly and helpful staff, and delicious food make Madison’s a “must.” And owners Chetna and/or Shel always stop by your table to be sure all is well. You will love Madison’s!
We always enjoy dining at Madison’s. The owners and staff are so friendly and fun. The decor is perfect—beautifully decorated with low-top tables in the dining room and high-tops in the bar area. Best of all are the delicious menu items and a very nice wine menu. We LOVE the lamb burgers, but we’ve never been disappointed with any of the small plates, salads, or entrees that we’ve tried over the years. We can’t wait for our next visit to Madison’s!
Don't let the outside of this place and its location prevent you from visiting for a meal or a drink. Bar area is small but the people are great. The owner welcomes everyone who comes in, she is very friendly and kind. I'm looking forward to making some more new friends like I did on my first visit the next time I come in !
yes - a nice quick place to stop, eat and it is near a truck stop area
The food was great and the service was excellent; very attentive.
This was our first time at Madison's Pub and Grill, we will definitely return!!! The prices are very reasonable and it is a place for anyone of any age. Everyone there is very friendly and knows the menu. We got there about 10 minutes before Happy Hour ended and our server, Kathy, informed us of the specials and wanted to make sure we could get in a drink order, if we wanted something. We asked about the house chardonnay and she brought us a sample. We decided to order 2 glasses each as they were half price. She came back with a bottle as the bartender said that was the same price, we were very pleased and enjoyed the wine! We asked some questions about the specials and my husband decided on the Chicken Pot Pie which he loved. I had the Mussels de Provence that were FANTASTIC! The sauce is outstanding. We also each had a salad, one small Greek and one small Caesar that were very tasty. My husband also had the tiramisu that was delicious but not overly sweet. We will definitely return and bring friends the next time.
The owner stopped by and we chatted about the mussels, the recipe is his! Very nice that he also stops by the tables to check on the patrons.
We tried Madisons Pub recently and really like the menu options and the food is delicious. Large portions.
Great place, food and service. This was our second time here and this time we brought a couple friends who loved it too. A little hidden and off the beaten track. So glad we found it!
For a spot calling itself a Pub it's got a nicely varied menu ranging from burgers (I had the lamb and Feta cheese burger) to plated affairs (wife had the grilled pork chops and said they were delicious).
One of my favorite local gems! Great service friendly and thoughtful owners music weekly and great food!
Have not been here in forever, had a siblings lunch at noon on a Thursday and to my surprise the place was empty. Menu is filled with solid options burgers to entrees. Our table had the Beyond Burger (plant based) w/sweet potato fries not bad at all with cheddar and avocado. Also the salmon, which was a little dry, and the baked oysters which were huge and tasty. Anthony our server was perfectly attentive but not annoying, kept our glasses filled. Normally when a restaurant isn't busy the service is often slower than it should be, not the case here. Overall, decent food that goes a little beyond standard Pub fare. Good spot for bus meetings or blue collar stop off or just a casual spot plenty of room.
We were a party of six. We had an excellent server who was very knowledgable about the ingredients in our dishes. A few of us had cocktails which were absolutely delicious, balanced and made very well. We all shared their appetizers and fell in love with the oysters Rockafeller, the smoked fish spread served with crostini (that was amazing!). We all had something different for dinner. A few total stand outs were the fish tacos, the Lake Perch, the Jambalaya and my sons Juicy Lucy burger which he claimed was the best burger he's ever eaten. Unfortunately we were all way too full to even look at the dessert menu, and can't wait to make our way back to try more of their food.
Birthday lunch, very nice
My second visit - was going to try the mile high meatloaf but was intrigued by the ‘scotch egg’ and a few other treats on the happy hour menu. I’m hooked on the Scottish Egg! I may never try the meatloaf ha ha. Terrific service - terrific food. Kudos to the chef and all the staff from the hostess to the wait staff. One thing maybe to improve - bathrooms! According to my friend it was a bit musty downstairs . Hope the owners read this and take note!!! I’ll come back again and again - love this place. Hidden in a crazy spot but worth to hunt for this hidden old treasure!
Our first time there and the service was outstanding, food was very good, and the relaxed atmosphere with the live music was excellent. We certainly will be going back.
The food was delicious. The atmosphere is up and enjoyable. Beautiful restaurant, very nice staff and Arne the owner is a super nice guy!
We’ve just recently discovered this gem. Have been there about 4-5 times and have not been disappointed. Good food. Close to home. Friendly service and live music on some Saturdays. It has quickly become a go to place for us
Certain live music may drown out conversation during typical dining hours. Might want to reserve the live music for after 8pm. Good food though!
Food and service was excellent! We had 7 people for dinner. Everybody loved their food!
Good food and GREAT service from our waiter "Mike".
Our reservation was for 6:30. The band had already started and it was too loud even for the wait staff to hear our order
This is a wonderful place for a casual business dinner with a group. Service was fantastic and the food was very good.
This place has great food and had a good band playing Saturday night. It is not very big, but nice atmosphere and good service. I would highly recommend this place.
Atmosphere was good, lots of TV’s for watching sports. Didn’t care for the bartender, he made several mistakes and wasn’t friendly. Food was average.
I follow Madisons on FB and live in Willowbrook - they posted that on Fridays & Saturdays they now have oysters. Being oyster lovers, my husband and I, along with my brother & sister in law decided to try it. The dining room was lit up like a home kitchen - far too bright for a dining room. There was a singer that was okay, but she was placed in another section of the dining with no real area for her to be. And! They were out of oysters. We ordered smelt, crab cakes (never got them), steak bites and buffalo shrimp and a few drinks. The waiter was nice, it wasn't his fault that they ran out of oysters on Friday but he also didn't bring us the crab cakes we ordered. We won't be back.
A pleasant surprise! A wide variety of items on the menu. We were with a group of 8 and not one person had a complaint about their meal! In fact everyone said it was very good. The juicy lucy burger was amazing;) Our server Elise was also super sweet and attentive. We will definitely be going back!
It was a very nice evening. Cathy was a great waitress. The house wine as ok. The food was delicious. There are other items on the menu we can’t wait to try.
We've been coming here the past few years and I know it's under new management. The new menu is still superb. Our table enjoyed kids burgers, housemade veggie burger (beware, it falls apart easily, but super tasty with a little kick!), and fish and chips. We weren't crazy about the calamari. Everything else was great! Restaurant recently went through some renovations, updated look, very nice!
We were surprised to find out that they offer half priced bottles of wine! We got a good Cabernet for $16!!! Good food. Had a band who were very good. Very nice owners!!!! They have done some renovation and have plans for more!
Madison's is a comfortable restaurant with a nice food selection and good value.
The food was excellent and the service was even better!
All around good time. Food was on point. Love music on a Saturday night was a nice touch. Looks of an upscale restaurant with a very laid back feel.
Had a bite to eat after a concert downtown. Service was awesome. Food was perfect. We will be back.
We were pleasantly surprised to find Madison's with a new owner and a new look. There were Cork horizontal tiles on the walls and new ceiling tiles. These upgrades substantially improved the sound absorption and quality of the live music experience. Our food was good and we were impressed with the owner's presence and availability.
