   A disappointing experience after trying to getbthere forcyears. The ambiance is very nice. The food was good but overrated. Our expectations may have been too high since we've been wanting to eat there on one of our visits. My wife hated the salmon burger ate about one taste. Our server never inquired why she didn't really touch it. The burger was good, but salty. I asked for ice tea and was uphold an Arnold Palmer, which was probably the worst I've ever had. They never refilled our water the whole time we were there. The worst and most unforgivable part for me is they marked us as an OpenTable no-show. I spent more than an hour going back and forth with OpenTable, providing receipt information and then photos of the receipt. I called the restaurant only to be berated that we weren't there and didn't have a reservation. It turns out that they could not spell a simple common name like John Smith. They finally found the reservation and corrected the no-show. I specifically asked if they checked us in when we arrived and was told yes.

We deeply regret the oversight and inconvenience caused by the reservation mix-up and lack of attentiveness from our team.    While not busy, the service was very slow. The decor is old world dark and in need of refreshing. The bathrooms were not cleaned and no paper towels. The food was just average.

   Server and server assistant were the best. Our first time in New York. The server was able to suggest items and did not rush us. We relaxed and chatted. Had the Mac and cheese!! Oh my so delicious.

   I had a delicious burger perfectly prepared. My girlfriend ordered and loved her avocado toast. Clara, our server, was excellent, as always.

   This is a cozy neighborhood restaurant. The decor is tasteful and the decorations for Christmas were lovely. The food is consistently good. Service is friendly. Madison & Vine is the perfect place for a pleasant lunch near Grand Central

   Madison & Vine is very consistent in the quality of their food and the level of service. During the fall/winter months, after they close the glass walls, the main dining room can get a little noisy. The heated attached tent tends to be better in this regard.

   Food was good, nice neighborhood type spot. Service was a bit slow even though the restaurant was mostly empty. Fortunately it was a rainy overcast morning and we had no pressing appointment.

   Appetizers and main courses were very good. Our server was helpful and accommodating. After dinner cappuccinos were not good so she took them back. No problem
