Not good experience at all. 3 waters mixing the orders, duplicating cocktails and vines...
Food was fairly good. Starters from 22 , mains 30 in average.

Food was fine, service was rushed and a bit uneven. Overall, it was fine, but there are plenty of better places around

Dined on MLK Day with a business colleague, so it was quieter than usual. I hear that the weekday lunch crowd is quite busy, but I would still dine here again. I have some food allergies and the waitress did a very good job accommodating me. My colleague enjoyed her meal, so overall it was a positive experience.

Service was decent although we didn't see the waiter again once the food was delivered. I had the Cobb Salad which was quite pathetic for $19. Barely dressed, bland roasted chicken and too deconstructed for my taste.

Our group of six had a delightful lunch at M & V as we celebrated birthdays for two of our group. Our table was waiting for us, the service perfect, the food excellent & the wine & desserts terrific. The maitre de was more than helpful in assisting the eldest of our group (she is 95 years young) in getting a taxi . She really was a big help. We loved this place and highly recommend it.

Restaurant was nearly empty on New Year's day for lunch. However, the service was completely sub par. Waitress was not interested nor attentive. I had highlighted that it was my daughter's birthday in the reservation and it was not a memorable one

Nice neighborhood place, reasonable prices. Only issue was noise level which was high. It is tightly packed and we had a table by the door so got a cold blast every time it opened.

Given I now have a lot of work in the neighborhood, it is nice to have a somewhat nice restaurant very close by. That said, my overall impression of the restaurant is pretty good food and pretty good service make for a pretty good experience. Would I go there for dinner or lunch if I were not working? probably not. But is it a great spot for lunch or dinner with colleagues after work? absolutely

Was a little loud for a business meeting & we were placed by the entrance even though I asked to be placed towards the windows in the back. There was a bit of a draft. Staff was pleasant, but took a while to return to our table for additional items needed, coffee, etc.

I have enjoyed Madison & Vine on many occasions. They have a friendly team. It is a convenient location in the heart of mid-town, great for a drink or a meal, inside, or on the sidewalk in season, and a surprise roof-top for drinks. The simple menu is done well; they have never failed to leave me very satisfied.

Great wait staff .. we were three chatty women and they came by enough but not too much. The MAC n Cheese was as described by others, wonderful! The eggplant appetizer and crab cakes shouldn't be missed!

Arriving at 12:30pm on Saturday we were given a brunch menu. If one didn't want a dish with eggs, there was a pancake option and a hamburger option. I would have preferred more lunch options on a brunch menu than mostly breakfast options. Otherwise, the hamburgers and fries we had were fine. It's a nice cosy place to have a nice meal with excellent service.

Amazing!! I came here with friends for the champagne happy hour and the prices were so cheap. The ambiance is nice and their Christmas decorations really set the mood. Me and my friends split the spinach dip and I got steak, very pleased with the food! Our server was delightful and kept checking up on us and our drink refills. Will definitely be coming back here soon

Madison & Vine has a wonderful BBQ Chicken sandwich which comes with perfect french fries. We love coming here for lunch on weekends... Much to my shock this dish was apparently removed from the Brunch menu. The bartender on duty was kind enough to go the extra mile to persuade the kitchen to make this sandwich for me despite it's not being on the menu. Props to this exceptional server who deserves a raise for thinking on his feet to spare potential disappointment... Advice to management: this sandwich should be part of all your menus and considered a signature dish to your establishment! No way this would disrupt the general flow in your kitchen.

This was my second visit to Madison and Vine and re-confirmed how much I loved this place. The food is amazing - I especially love the Pipe Rigate and the cheese board as appetizer is massive and delicious. Ask about the champagne happy hour which has great deals on glasses and bottles

The place is very crowded with commuter and after-work crowd. Very noisy!! Food was good, but the wine was "out of sight". I did not look at beverage menu and was astounded to see that our glasses of wine were $17 and $19. What a rip-off. I would not flinch if I was at the Plaza or 21 Club, but this is crazy!!!! I would not recommend unless you are looking for an expensive wine menu.

It's hard to find an affordable lunch at a sit-down restaurant in Midtown these days. Madison and Vine fits the bill. A good selection of sandwiches, salads and full entrees offers ample choices, and the prices, like the food, are very agreeable.

I suggested we go here because I'd been there a few years ago and remembered it being good. We got there and realized we didn't need reservations because they were empty. We were walked over to our table and we asked if we could sit by the windows and were told they were reserved for groups of 3 or more and it was only a girlfriend of mine and me. I asked if they expected a huge crowd and again asked to be seated there, but she refused to let us sit there. Since it was a special occasion, my friend and I were going to share a bottle of wine. We selected a very good bottle of wine and the waitress spilled a bit of it when pouring it. She either did not notice or care. We ordered the cheese platter that was very good but our main course was not. My friend got the NY Strip Steak and it was overcooked and basically fully charred on the outside. My braised ribs were incredibly salty but I didn't want to send them back because my friend had sent her steak back. Needless to say, I didn't finish it. The wait staff was busy talking to each other at the bar instead of checking in on us. I know that they were not busy, but they should still come by and check on the customers. We got our bill and left within an hour. They never sat anyone at the window which we could have clearly sat in.

I was hoping for cozy and small. The restaurant was way too noisy, food expensive, calamari was cold, and our waiter kept trying to push appetizers and sides. Not good for dinner that's for sure.

Only problem was that we waited 20 minutes for our seats even though we had a reservation - poor management by the hostess. Was pretty annoying given this was a business lunch meeting. Otherwise, I thought the food was good, service was decent, seating was a bit tight, reasonably priced.

We had one issue. There were flies/gnats at the table for the entire meal as they sat us up front by the open door. We asked if they could close the door and the receptionist said yes of course but never closed it.

Madison &Vine is attached to the hotel where we were staying. We had two meals there. Both were very good. Service was pleasant if not particularly speedy. Excellent wines by the glass. Both nights the place was very quiet- only a few customers. We enjoyed it and would go back.
