Excellent food and service
Very good. Wait staff were so polite. Food was 4.5 out of 5. No half stars. Location great.
Great location! Excellent brunch!! Definitely recommend trying this place if you haven’t yet.
Ordered the french toast and burger. Amazing food.
Madison and Vine is doing a very good job under pandemic conditions. Tables are set up on a relatively quiet side street and the service is excellent despite the challenging conditions. The waiter was quite generous with his pours of wine. The menu is limited but there's something for everyone. I really enjoyed my lobster roll.
Service was attentive but not intrusive. Drinks were on point - a perfectly made stiff Old Fashioned for me and a Cosmpolitan for my friend. We shared the very tasty Mexican Corn Salad to start then I had the burger, medium rare. Perfectly cooked with delicious fries. We had a table inside and the requisite Covid nonsense was handled matter of factly, all of which added up to a pretty good facsimile of a normal Friday night dinner out in the neighborhood. Thank you Madison & Vine!
Everything about this restaurant was great. Its in a cute location right down the street from the NY Library and Grand Central Station. Service was great! And the meatballs are a MUST have. Still trying to figure out what kind of cheese was on top, the whole dish was delish! Will be back on my next visit to NYC!
Waiter dropped ketchup all over us and Burger was cooked through and through. Everything else was fine.
We had such a fabulous time. Thank you so much for such a great experience Nick. You had really made our weekend! The bottomless brunch drinks were awesome!
One of worst dining experiences we have had. Came and they didn’t know we had a reservation, sat us somewhere and didn’t come around for 15 minutes. Then when they did come around they didn’t have all of the menus. He said he was going to get it and didn’t come around for 10 minutes. By that time it had been 25 minutes without service so we left.
Had happy hour appetizers/small plates and wine. Very nice.
Good food and nice friendly staff . Good value. Will visit again
Very nice and accommodating during all of the complications of the pandemic.
Lovely. We had happy hour menu outdoors.
Great outdoor seating and perfect service. Nice escape near Grand Central.
"Happy Hour" special menu is a joke. The servings of food and wine are a lot smaller than their regular menu. It's a rip-off.
My friend and I enjoyed our happy hour hang out. The energy, food and drinks was really good. The Staff are very friendly and accommodating.
Love this place.
Tasty foods. Excellent services. Good outdoor dining option during Covid-19. Few people walked by behind you during your meal. Not that bad but you should know what to expect.
Amazing service and delicious food!! Fantastic experience all round!!
We had lunch there outdoors. The food was good and so was the service. A very please experience.
Great service. A guy who seemed to work next door, butvas sitting at a Mad and Vine table, was listening to the news on his phone with out ear buds and smoking. The waiter eventually talked with him. This is one of our usual places, we love it.
Our waiter Nick and the rest of the staff were very professional and made me and my friend feel both welcome and safe eating outdoors during the COVID pandemic. The food was excellent. I had cavatappi with sausage, delicious, and my friend had grilled octopus with a chickpea salad, which she said was superb. The manager made a point of stopping by our table to thank us for coming out. A woman at an appropriately distant table felt faint and the staff came out immediately to help her, bring her an ice pack, and make sure she was all right. That was brave and kind. Plus the location near Grand Central and the NYPL is very convenient. This place has my heart. Thank you!
The waiter was excellent. Tables were socially distanced . Food was fresh and dessert well worth the calories . Glad they were open outside .
Definitely a restaurant I am recommending and returning too .
We had a party of six and from the moment we arrived we received VIP service. The food and wine were excellent but I recommend the salmon as it was the best I have had. Do your self a favor and make this a must stop
Please, if I could give 0 stars. This experience was better left forgotten, as our food was old, under cooked, uninspired, and tasteless. I wish I could unlovely this moment in my life. Blah
Our waitress was outstanding!!!
A real gem close to Gr Central with great food, less noise than the new standard, and excellent wait staff.
Service was fantastic. Food was very good. It was very quiet and comfortable.
Our waiter was excellent! Good recommendations, honest opinions.
Excellent service and food!!
Great food Great service Great location Great Hotel - The Library
First visit in more than a year, so the upgrades to the overall visit were very pleasant. Service was attentive and prompt. Wine selections, both glass and bottle, appropriate to the menu. Salad appetizers were fresh and crisp, and with optional add-ins, could be a full meal. Chicken pailllard was nicely done with tasty arugula; salmon was cooked as requested, and with a nicely grilled skin.
Went here for a quick brunch with family. Food was very good
Amazing server who really worked with us to get the perfect wine!!!
Great staff, management and selection of fresh delish food!
Deafeningly loud. Had asked in advance for a quite table since it was listed at good for a business meeting. Was seated initially at a table next to a party of 10. Moved to what looked like the best alternative table but that was no help. Don't go if you want to hear what your companion is saying.
We had a wonderful and relaxed brunch. Roman, our server, was great, the perfect mix of being attentive without hovering. The food and drinks were delicious and the soundtrack of The Beatles and Elton John was on point. We will definitely be back!
Our table was in a most inconvenient place
One of my go to places in the city! Food is always great and service is attentive with out being over bearing. Roman was our waiter and was so accommodation on anything we wanted or when I wanted to make changes on my salad. “Anything you want” was his motto! Love this place
