Great Service, a great place for a business lunch.
My daughter and I enjoyed a pre-show dinner. We had plenty of time to relax and order exactly what we wanted versus a set pre-show menu choice selection. I will definitely return for another delicious meal next time I’m in NYC!
I like this place because its very convenient to my office. The chicken pallaird is delicious. The problem is that it is very noisy in the evenings. Does not control noise too well
It is incredibly loud.
a little pricy for what you get. maybe only because of its location. but really the food wasnt so great... just ok. burger they say award winning, but how? was it a bad day for kitchen to not mee6 the restaurant standard? i added bacon to my burger but they forgot too. not recommending it.
Roosevelt is an outstanding waiter!! His knowledge of wine and fantastic customer service keep us coming back.
Always a great experience at Madison and Vine .... but particularly this time.
Our Waiter, Roosevelt, was AMAZING!!
Friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and perfect timing through the entire meal. A true professional!!
The Smokey Cider Margarita is spectacular. Get it!!!
Fun cute spot with good selection and nice wine selection
Dinner with my 3 years-old, perfect wine, perfect apple-cider, perfect warm dip fries and steaks.
Great spot for a breakfast or lunch meeting. The staff was very flexible for us. Nice Job!
The veal meatballs are a great appetizer!
Had undercooked 27 Dollar hamburger. Meh.
Service was impeccable and the food better than expected. I highly recommend it.
Excellent service. The nicest people working there
Nice place. Came for a business lunch. But it gets very loud.
We were warmly welcomed and allowed to choose our table which was a bit quieter
The server was so very professional-he was excellent!
The food was very good although a bit of green would be appreciated on the plate with the perfect chicken and potato and chorizo dish-sooo perfectly prepared
Found my glass of Pinot Noir and enjoyed it -
Really nice-we were headed to an event at the Times Talks
worked out really well
Amazing food and really well priced. Great veal meatballs and amazing salmon
After viewing menu and seeing some great options, I was excited to try M&V.
What a let down...the tuna tartare was disgusting. Unlike most tartares, which are mostly fresh fish and mild flavors, theirs was smothered in sesame seeds, almonds, coconut (?) and currants ?!?! I couldn't eat it.
My "espresso martini" was Baileys and vodka. My daughter's burger was overcooked and the crab cakes were bland. Husband said the roast chicken was good, though. We won't be going back...
Madison and Vine is a pretty, cozy restaurant with impeccable service. Our waiter (Roman) was terrific! The macaroni & cheese was excellent (we shared it as an appetizer) and then each of us had the burger, which was fine but I wouldn’t say it was even close to the best burger in the city.
We are likely to come back and will try another dish for our main course.
Really enjoyed dinner here the other night. Food was good - solid choices (salad, crab cakes, the dip). Service stood out - they were attentive, but let us stay and chat well after we were done eating and plates cleared. Would recommend and return.
Nice, cozy place for happy hour or casual dinner. Delicious cocktails and appetizers.
I frequent Madison & Vine often and like the place. Had an (unusual) reservation at 11:30 AM and my guest arrived a bit early. They would not let patrons in the restaurant until a bit after 11:30. Normally, not a big deal, but it was cold outside.
The service was impeccable. Food was also excellent. Just what my husband and I wanted.
We are huge fans of Madison & Vine and the charming Library Hotel. This time six old friends enjoyed a delicious reunion brunch at a very reasonable price, and we could hold a real conversation because the music was quiet enough—such a gift! Bonus points for the lovely holiday decor. Our server was excellent and kept our coffee cups warm and full.
Went on 12/23 with two kids and my mom. We ordered and waiting over 1 1/2 hours for our appetizer. When we inquired about it, waitress came to table and said she lost our order. Food was mediocre. She offered nothing for the wait and said she'd have to ask her manager for even offering a free drink. MAnager finally came over afterwards and offered kids free dessert.
The avocado toast with thick bacon was creamy and crumbly with perfectly cooked eggs on top. A favorite.
Popped in for breakfast - really well looked after and everything was delicious!
Great as usual but a little Loud.
Very, very loud!!
We had Sunday Brunch. Menu is not extensive but adequate.
Service was lacking especially since restaurant wasn’t busy. I had to ask the busboy to request 2nd glass of wine from our waitress.
Burger was great and cooked to our liking
Location was great since we were taking train from GCT.
This was really disappointing. Unfortunately I read the reviews late so didn't get to change our reservation. Service was indeed slow. The restaurant does not have enough wait staff. We were seated immediately and the hostess accommodated our request to sit by the window (a the suggestion of the waiter). I agree with a previous review that the space is very tight. Uncomfortably so. Our waiter was very friendly but we hardly saw him throughout. After a short-ish wait for our drinks we ordered food. Appetizer came pretty quick and the cheeses we ok. We waited 45 mins, perhaps more, for our entree which consisted of two salads with (salty) chicken! Two follow ups with our waiter when we could get his attention were followed by "it will be out in one minute". A table that was seated after us received their entree much sooner than ours. Annoying. And while I expect to pay more for the area given it's touristy location but $10 for a side of fries was ridiculous, especially when it only cost $6 to add chicken breast to my salad! I would not return to this restaurant again nor would I recommend anyone spend their time or money there, including guests of the adjoining hotel. A short walk will provide much more selection, quality and service.
Great stop after holiday shopping. Eat at the bar.
We were visiting the City last week and snagged some reservations here. The reviews I saw were good so I thought we’d give it a go. So glad we did! We arrived 15-20 minutes early for our reservation and the host took notice and worked his best to seat us earlier. Everyone is very nice and works hard to make sure you’re taken care of. The food was delicious and perfectly done. I will definitely come back to Madison and Vine when I visit again!
Was meeting friends and needed a place near GCT. Great food and drink, exceptional service who allowed us to hang with no pressure to order and allowed us to relax. I was a little weary since it is in a hotel but it was all great. Highly recommend.
Space was pretty Small but comfortable. Food ok. Waitstaff seemed disinterested.
Hostess was exceptionally nice but a little under staffed unfortunately so we ended up waiting a very long time for our food and drinks.
This was our first time there, I brought 3 friends for brunch! We all had different selection, everyone loved their choice.Definitely worth going back! Can’t wait to try lunch and dinner!
The hostess refused to seat us where we requested
Was eager to get Sunday Brunch reservations for my wife’s birthday...food was great but they were understaffed. Advertised as a wine bar and although they have expensive glasses of wine, not a very wine friendly/educated place.
