Made Kitchen & Cocktails
Alpharetta is home to Made Kitchen & Cocktails, a lively restaurant built out of a century old former cotton mill that features steel beams, distressed wood and concrete for an industrial appearance. The restaurant affords diners foods cooked on the hardwood fired, stainless steel grill that are cooked to perfection. Settle back into plush, banquet-style seating as you delight yourself with al fresco inspired meals at Made Kitchen & Cocktails.
Meats and cheese, tapas, croquettes, entrees and desserts fill the menu with delightful food options. For example, you have the highly recommended colossal crab cake, salt cod fritters and the grilled bone-in pork chop. The paella for two options at Made Kitchen & Cocktails pleases diners with a shareable dish of either paella mixta featuring different meats and calasparra rice or the vegetarian paella with seasonal vegetables and calasparra rice.

Celebrating a birthday
Did tapas this time- love the artichokes (sauce on side), tuna and charcuterie. Steer clear of the chicken skewers- they are too fatty. Great wine list and service, as usual.
Food was great! Lady at the host stand is pretty rude and lacks customer service skills. She rushes you when you are speaking and talks with a nasty attitude for no reason and we noticed she did that with every guest whom she spoke with. Our server was very nice, but only came to our table 3 times to take our order and drop off the check. She never checked once on us after we got our food and took a long time to return after we finished eating. The only thing that made the restaurant worth our time was the food.
Great food and service, will be back
Great food and awesome drinks. Ask for Harrison as a waiter.
The food and service are impeccable!
Love this place!! Greeted by our waitress Camille, whom was amazing. Very friendly and attention to detail. Very good service.
Inside is decorated really nice and cosy. Cocktails are terrific.
Ordered the salmon dish and the pork chops. Both were sensational. Loved everything about them. Can’t wait to try the paella next time.
From start to finish 5 stars!!!
Thanks Camille, the chef and the rest of the staff. A true little gem of a restaurant.
Will we be back? 1000%. Amazing place
Great food and service. A little loud but otherwise great!
Excellent food quality - fantastic service - great setting and ambience.
Engagement / marriage
Our group of 4 had salad, crab cakes, Brussels sprouts, grilled vegetables, beef empanadas and scallops. Dessert was fruit empanadas and crushed chocolate with almonds. The salads were fresh and yummy with interesting dressings.
The crab cakes were a little disappointing especially since I was excited to be able to order it since it contained no egg. ( egg allergy). The flavor was spot on with the provided sauce and even without. However, the crab cakes were too mushy/creamy. So even though the crab cakes had no bready filler the consistency was off such that I was tasting more soupy creaminess then large crab pieces. It seemed that the jumbo crab pieces were shredded so you don’t get the large lumps.
Both the Brussels sprouts and roasted vegetable were well prepared and presented. The scallops were delightfully yummy and cooked perfectly. I did not eat any of the other items but I was told they were all good. Beware the sauce on the beef empanadas is extra spicy.
Service was friendly and welcoming. As requested food was brought out each item as they were ready.
One of my fave places for ambiance- Loved the charcuterie board. Would not recommend the chicken skewers- VERY fatty, did not really resemble chicken at all, and no flavor in the sauce. My son's gf was planning to use this as protein on her Caesar salad but it was inedible so nobody ate it. Skirt steak was great (fries had a weird flavor so my son didn't eat them). Chicken was good and salmon was good. Wine list and service are always great!
Dinner was delicious, but noise level was very loud. I will go back at an earlier time when it might be quieter.
We just love this place. Great food and service
Food is excellent
Tapa style, so be ready to try multiple things
The paella on the next table looked amazing… will have to go back to try that. Be ready to order it first thing, before even drinks, as it takes it’s time.
Always a solid choice when meeting friends for dinner. Service was slow to get us seated but then great after that. Food was good. Drinks are expensive. The Union bartender gives a better pour than the Made bartender but he’s a super good guy to talk with. Will go back
Great food as always. Service is fast with a smile.
We were pleasantly surprised that a Spanish restaurant was close by. The food was delicious. The server was friendly and welcoming. He knew wines and helped us with selections that we thoroughly enjoyed.
The appetizers we chose were tasty; among them, oysters and meatballs. We were pleased with the artichokes, peppers stuffed with goat cheese, and the calamari. My son ordered the pork chop. He said with was nicely grilled and juicy. The rum raisin ice cream was delicious. I topped it with the port that complemented the flavors.
Great food, variety and experience for party of ten.
Was there to celebrate my birthday. Took over an hour to get our food and the appetizers came out with the entrée. Blond curly Hair was found in a guest of mine’s food and they tried to tell her she put it there when none of the party have blond hair curly hair.
Our first time at Made. We ate on the patio which is covered and has a really cool ambiance. Food was terrific (I ordered the steak with fingerling potatoes and chimichurri, my husband got a few small plates: charro beans, plantains, empanadas). Drinks were great too, I preferred the white wine sangria over the red. The fruit empanadas, for dessert, were good, but the fruit was apple, a little disappointing in summer when you have fruits like peaches, nectarines and others to choose from; the only ice cream available that night was rum raisin (they had run out of caramel and vanilla). Service was excellent. Will definitely return and tell others to give it a try.
The tapas menu has wonderful choices and each one was fantastic! Great fun!
Food was fabulous.... Wish we could have tried even more dishes!
We took my husband for Father’s Day and boy did this make his day. Everything on the menu sounded so good so we ordered quite a bit and let our eyes get bigger than our stomachs but it was soooooo worth it! It felt like they just kept bringing out dishes but everyone was better than the last everything from the meat and cheese to the meatballs to the crab cakes to the Brussels sprouts…. Not one thing to complain about; everything tasted amazing and was so enjoyable. Our service was outstanding, the patio (where we sat) was covered, provided an escape type feeling and overall - everyone felt like this is a place we’d put in regular rotation because the experience was just that great! Well done and thanks for meeting, and exceeding, our expectations.
Great cocktails and tapas.
Hannah was terrific as our server. She Made good suggestions on Sangria cocktail & food choices. Colossal Crab is misnamed by implying size but it was very tasty good. Only complaint is minimal air movement in outdoor patio seating area. Need bigger fans & ceiling fans to move air around guys during steamy GA evenings.
Fun atmosphere, great drinks, great service, great food. Loved it and will go back!
50th but party
The restaurant has a great vibe and is nicely decorated. The area has a ton of options and things to do. Not sure why they are called kitchen and cocktails when not a single drink comes with a garnish. Sangria has no fruit and the leche martinis didn’t even come with anything. It looked like water. We even asked the waitress for something and she confirmed nothing was to be served with the martini. Never ever have I seen that.
The food was fine. Not great but fine.
We like the vibe more than we liked the food or service.
Great dinner, Great service! All of the drinks, apps and entrees were simply fantastic. Thank you.
Excellent food and service surrounded by other great places to visit.
We never have a bad experience going to Made. We'll be back again.
The service Alice provided was superb. She was excellent. The drinks were very tasty, and a good pour. The empanadas were really good. We liked them very much. We also had the paella with seafood and chorizo. We have had paella in Barcelona, high end places in the states and this was as good, if not better, than any of those. Our only comment was it’s a bit salty, bu I don’t mind salt, but someone sensitive to sodium would likely notice.
My only complaint was upon arrival the restaurant had 3 tables taken and they wanted to sit us at a very tiny table basically sitting with another couple. It was not but a half a foot between us. We asked for a larger single table and they would only let us sit outside. They claimed all 4 tops were reserved. Ok it’s Friday night, I get it. It was ok until they shut all shutters and the door on the patio because it was going to rain. It then turned into a sauna. It never rained and when we left many tables inside still unoccupied.
The patio has great ambiance but they need some fans for airflow.
My husband and I had a lovely dinner at Made. We hadn't been there is some time due to the pandemic. We were greeted promptly and seated for our early reservation out on the patio. Service was fantastic! We enjoyed the rocket salad, beet salad with goat cheese, scallops, chicken skewers, patatas braves, and empanadas. Everything was delivered efficiently and hot (not to mention delicious). We've always had positive experiences at Made in the past, but had forgotten how much we like it. Already planning a return visit!
Everything was great - but outdoor patio could use some fans!
Shared the paella - seven of us at high top, everyone enjoyed their choices - always a great experience💕💕
Always great service and food. Fun atmosphere.
Food and service was very very good. Our waiter made our drinks just as we asked, fantastic. This was the first time we went and we liked all the small plates we tried, which made our night there very pleasant. Good food and good drinks, who can ask for more.
Always a good goto place for good food and drinks of course.
Went for Mother’s Day brunch. Was a very nice restaurant very cool but comfortable as well. Their regular menu items were very good and came out correct. Their brunch items were also good flavor but missing a lot of the components listed on the menu. Like compotes for every item, dressing on my salad.
The real dissatisfaction was when we asked 3 different people for assistance, they simply ignored our table when returning to the dining room to deliver food. Even our waitress took the order of a large party before I could flag her down and get an answer on the items that were missing. That was 20 minutes after I had asked two others for assistance.
Order was also entered wrong and we were billed for it. Waitress acted annoyed that she had to remove it and return to the table for my card. Overall, a decent experience but they should work on training their servers since this claims to be an upscale restaurant.
