The Cavallino Family welcomes you to experience their newest addition to their family of restaurants, "Made in Italy Trattoria". Our family has been in the restaurant business spanning decades and numerous generations. More recently, the Cavallino's are the former owners of "Enzo & Lucia's" in Long Grove, IL. As our family continues to grow and expand into new suburbs, so does our network of family restaurants.

"Made in Italy Trattoria" is located in Glen Ellyn, IL. Our Italian style restaurant provides a romantic and quaint atmosphere while offering a menu made of authentic Italian family recipes prepared by actual Italians. We invite you to come and experience great Italian food which our family has perfected through decades of experience.

If you are interested in our catering, we have catering menus available in the restaurant. Any and all of the dishes that we serve are available for catering upon request even though they may not all be listed in detail on our catering menu. If you are planning on placing a catering order, please call no later than two days before pickup date. We are able to cater some of our daily specials as well, if you are interested in catering a specific special that we carry, please call for availability of that item for they are subject to change frequently. We are more than happy to accommodate catering order of any kind.

We found "Made" about a year ago and it has become one of our regular haunts, especially for Italian food in our area. But that being said, we're not sure that the food is better than the service. They are both excellent.

We've been to this restaurant many, many times and love the food. This visit we were highly dissatisfied with the lack of service. We have had this server before and she's always been fine, but this time, totally inattentive....we asked for bread, she said it's in the oven.....asked again, still in the oven, yet we saw other people get bread. Hmmmm.... She didn't ask how are meal was, didn't ask if we wanted another glass of wine....just brought us the check. The longer we sat, we concluded she was the only server working all the tables inside and the couple tables outside. In this situation, tell us you're swamped and ask for our patience!!! Still, this is not our problem, and there should have been extra help from management. We'll still give this restaurant another try...

Our server was great and helpful with descriptions of meals and tips on changes to some entrees. Food is amazing. Only our second time here but we will be back.

Cute little Italian place! The staff is extremely friendly and attentive and we enjoyed our pasta dishes! Would highly recommend it if you’re in the area and prefer Italian food that isn’t loaded in garlic! Delicious bread and the burrata pasta is amazing! My boyfriend also loves the chicken piccata. Nice wine selection too. Thank you for your service .

Took the family to enjoy Mother’s Day. We had great experience. Service was great. Food was great. And also the background music was great. Definitely recommend it!

A very good meal with excellent service. Dining room was bustling and staff were on top of all tables - very efficient. Wish they had more space as lines were long all night.

We have eaten at Made in Italy a number of times over the last 4 years and each time it just gets better and better! Tonight we celebrated a number of family events and as always the staff made sure everything was perfect - from the excellent service, to the delicious food being served piping hot, to taking great care of us! We continue to go back again and again because the food is consistently excellent!
