Approached this venue with an open mind, once seated and upon reading the menue just felt it was going to be great dinner. A great selection tion to choose from. My wife and I chose different dishes. Whist waiting we just spoke about how comfortable it felt, only occasionally hearing a laughter from some of the guests. The 2 dishes turned up in no time, the table service was exceptional, upon taking the first bites we both made a remark....yummy It tasted delicious right to the end. Well after such a delicious meal we checked our tummies to see if we had room to have something sweet, yes so out came 2 dishes, once again superb. The waitress even took a few pics as it was my wife's birthday. Great service from start to finish, highly recommended.

Madame Za is truly a hidden gem that offers a memorable dining experience from start to finish. I had the pleasure of celebrating my 25th birthday there, and I couldn't have asked for a more perfect evening. The food was exceptional—flavorful, beautifully presented, and served with a sense of care that really set the restaurant apart. What truly stood out, however, was the impeccable customer service. Our waitress Sarah was attentive, friendly, and genuinely seemed to care about making our experience special. The atmosphere at Madame Za was calm, welcoming, and beautifully designed, creating the perfect setting for a relaxing and enjoyable meal. The highlight of the evening, though, was when they brought out my birthday dessert—complete with a "Happy Birthday" sign, candles, and a surprise rendition of the birthday song. This thoughtful gesture was truly unexpected, as most restaurants only do this if you bring your own cake. It was a personal touch that made the occasion feel even more special. Having dined at many restaurants for birthdays and celebrations over the years, I can confidently say that Madame Za's attention to detail and genuine hospitality make it stand out. Whether you're celebrating something special or just looking for an incredible meal, I highly recommend this place. It’s an experience you won’t soon forget!

I had a lovely experience at Madame Za! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable. The food was absolutely delicious, with a great balance of flavors in every dish. We were also treated to a delightful little appetizer between the entrée and main, which was a nice touch. The menu offers a wonderful selection, featuring local produce and a variety of red meat options, catering to different tastes. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience, and I’ll definitely be returning! Highly recommend.

The staff were pleasantly welcoming and table service was well managed ,we were not left waiting between courses ( timing was well managed) . Our meals were very nice and the ambiance was relaxing. Recommend and will be back in the near future .

If you want great service and great food this is the place. We went out to celebrate our wedding anniversary and they made it special each service congratulated us and they decorated our desert with a special note. It's hard to find great food with excellent service in Darwin/Palmerston and this is now on the top of my list.
