Sip tea in an elegant setting with heavenly spreads. Tea time towers will feature a variation of savory finger foods like cream cheese scones with smoked salmon, pan de mie sandwiches with red pepper and chevre, and small quiches,as well as sweet treats like salted caramel tarts, macarons, shortbread cookies and more.

    Madam is a 5*, however their Thanksgiving Buffet fell a bit short. The food was amazing, as was expected, the servers were energized and kept plates moving. Seating was a bit of a surprise, as some patrons were seated in doorways, whiles others were out in the middle of the 'runway' to get to the buffet. I must say however that orchstrating such an event takes master planning. Here are a few tips for next time: 1. Keep the music softer. (Many were shouting at their tables to be heard) 2. Move the gravy after the mashed potatoes and turkey and before the sweet potatoes. 3. When reserving a table, perhaps we could choose where to seat: parlor or grand ballroom, or either. Not sure how many years the Daxton has hosted this event but it has room for change.

    My experience with the Thanksgiving buffet was unsatisfactory. Service was poor: we weren't assigned a server and had to request for plate removals. Drinks were provided 30 minutes after being seated, and the food was mostly substandard, except for the turkey, and fish. For 100$ per person, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.

    The thanksgiving buffet was fantastic. Every item I tried was delicious. The carving stations were varied and the meats were well seasoned and cooked properly. There was a live band playing bossa nova and acoustic Christmas music. I can’t imagine any way it could have been better.

    Overall, it was a really nice anniversary worthy meal. We were a very early seating, place was almost empty and we were seated in a comfy corner spot. Our view was a construction site and a street that had constant cars & headlights. It really took away from a special, pricey night out. Hubby switched seats so I could eat looking into the dark, cozy view.

    The Sunday Brunch is always delightful, a nice array of choices on menu and reasonable priced for the atmosphere. The service has always been top notch. I have taken various friends to the Madam just so they see what a great place it is.

    We were there for breakfast and was not impressed at all by the quality and taste of the food. With regards to the service, we asked for 3 coffees, no sugar was brought. There was no spoon on the table or for the coffee. After asking for a spoon for my coffee they brought a large soup spoon so I had to request a coffee spoon. At the price of this restaurant, you would expect better care of the clients

    LOVED MADAM! Not sure how I missed this place. But everything was amazing and the menu was creative and top notch. I had the chefs table steak with fermented peach and accompaniments and it was perfectly done and unique. We will be back for a perfect “Grown ladies” dinner where we can actually carry a conversation, have a great meal and enjoy craft cocktails. Btw. Our server was incredible and personable. We will look for her again!

    Everything was really nice. Our service was outstanding she was very helpful. We chose this because it was our anniversary and this was a special restaurant in our relationship. My wife was disappointed because the bone marrow used to be just that. This time portions were smaller and they put ham in a bowl.

    Wife and I had 5 different bites - 2 apps, 2 entrees, 1 dessert. There was not a single great dish amongst them. All were OK, except maybe the dessert which was poor, but not a single dish that I would make a return trip to partake of a second time.

    This restaurant has excellent food and service. It’s a beautiful restaurant with a thrilling busy vibe to it. If you get there 5 minutes before you 5 o’clock reservation they will not let you in the restaurant, even if it’s just to sit in the restaurant, because the lobby can be quite hectic with guests and bar patrons. I wish the lady at the restaurant reception, would be a little more flexible.

    The Daxton is a beautiful venue and we were excited to try dinner at Madam. Unfortunately we were not as pleased as we expected considering Madam was Restaurant of the Year recently. The server was nice, but not very attentive and forgot our side items. The rigatoni with lamb ragu had an unusual flavor. It was good, but I would not order it again. The favorite meal of the table was the octopus. Sorry for the average review, but we were underwhelmed by the experience.

    Food was delicious and unique, service was excellent drinks were above average pour and my wife’s cocktail was delicious (The Madam) we were surprised that they no longer had pizza on the menu but it made little difference, we definitely will return and highly recommend

    A nice upscale restaurant with a few things to note. Plus side: The 4 entre’s of Scallops, pasta with lamb ragout, sea bass and cacio e Pepi Neri were all excellent and the service was excellent too. Dinning room was less than half full with reasonable noise level…was much nicer than an overcrowded place….Maybe they saved tables to give u more room which was appreciated. Challenges: Of course expensive although it was the $9 beers that bugged me most. And the wine list is silly expensive.  But the ratatoullie was a simple set of vegetables…Nothing like a ratatoullie should be. Deserts were good but would not make me come back. The lobby/bar is a ridiculous mass of noise…clearly the trendy place for Bham right now. And only three one person bathrooms to serve that crowd and the restaurant? Dumb. Overall, it was our first time and our guests second time and while it was good, I doubt we will be back. By the way, we stayed at the hotel that evening and it was very nice although it over $400 would also not be a place we revisit.

    The atmosphere was beautiful, the hostess was inviting along with the staff. Service was somewhat slow, took forever to get the cocktails. The drinks were delicious. The food menu was limited, I would encourage more vegetarian options and maybe additional sides. Expensive for the app portions. I may return but not running back.

    We ordered the chef special tomahawk and the steak was dry and overcooked. And the the bone appeared to be from a different cut and just a garnish. Another dinner ordered a pasta and the sauce was broken and cold. I would not recommend madam, but the bar and drinks are great.
