Welcome to Mad Frans right here in the heart of Leeds.

We are a Bar, Kitchen & Venue serving quality food with fresh local ingredients along with an extensive drinks selection, including a varied cocktail menu.
Weekdays are busy with business lunches and after work drinks.
Saturdays is bottomless day, one of our busiest days here at Frans- bottomless not your thing? Your welcome to pop in for quality food and drink without the bottomless option and booking is highly recommended,
Sunday is roast day, a firm favourite with our plethora of customers and you only need to check out our reviews. Think sirloin of beef cooked to perfection with all the trimmings and extra jugs of gravy- you really would be MAD not too!!!
We also specialise in the hire of the venue for all types of events, parties and celebrations, get in touch for availability and pricing.

Went for the Sunday Lunch. A three course meal with starters of Asian Cauliflower wings which were absolutely delicious and Pork bon bins which were also delicious. We both had the roast beef and a side portion of cauliflower cheese. Our food was served hot and a generous portion of meat came with plenty of roast potatoes, a large tasty yorkshire pudding and roasted veg. A separate jug of gravy which was so rich and tasty and again red hot. Although full we made room for the Eton mess which was a larger portion than expected but very very nice. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Server and host really polite and helpful. Service was super quick given I was on my lunch hour and food was delicious

The burger was nice but a pretty small portion for the price..but I guess that’s just the same everywhere now! I didn’t feel full afterwards. Staff were good and there when you needed them. Good overall vibe. A pretty small venue so tables are quite close together if that’s something that would bother you it’s worth noting. Good casual drinks/grub spot.

We had a selection of various side and smaller dishes to share between the 4 of us and really enjoyed all of them. Nachos, Halloumi sticks, Pizza, Burger, Fries etc. Everyone enjoyed the food and lovely festive cocktails and drinks.

Food and service was outstanding. We both enjoyed our burgers and the team were happy to meet our requirements for fat chips. Food was quick an delicious, great choice of drinks Service slick & great with ensuring our glasses were full.

Visited Mad Frans in Leeds today for Sunday Lunch. We had the Roast Sirloin Beef with roast veg, Yorkshire pudding and the most gorgeous and tasty gravy ever! The best Sunday Lunch I've had, the beef melted, it was beautiful. Others had the burgers and Hot Dog all very nice too. Desserts, Eton Mess, Brownie sundae beautiful. Very reasonably priced compared to others offering Sunday lunch in Leeds city center (2 courses £19.95) Great atmosphere and the staff very attentive. A little gem. Well done to the chef 👏

Excellent food, drinks and atmosphere. All staff really friendly and we were never without a drink during the bottomless brunch!
