Went for a birthday celebration. This was my second time at the restaurant, and was just as good as the first time. The seafood is fresh and well priced. Our server was attentive and made plenty of good suggestions.

Overall great time and we will be back. We got there early for our reservation and sat at the bar for a drink. My fiancé tried ordering a Margarita, but the restaurant had run out of the margarita mix. So she switched to a white wine, which was good, but not what she wanted. Later we sit at our table and the waiter was diligent and nice, but just had some strange comments like, “I see you’re looking around a lot.” Which made us feel awkward and like we were being watched. Also the menu vs the oyster wall board weren’t matching up so we were confused on what was in store because 2 of the oysters we ordered were not in stock. Other than that the night was wonderful, and the overall experience was what I gave earlier. Best,

SO excited to have found Mac's raw bar. The food was excellent, the variety was also unexpectedly diverse. Best of all, the customer service was stellar and for the value, I can honestly say I will be back and they have gained a long term customer.

Service was excellent. They made our anniversary very special. Drinks were tasty and server gave terrific wine recommendations. Hush puppies were yummy and the “seacuterie” was great- the mussels were especially delicious. We will be back!

We had a great experience. We sat at the bar and enjoyed everything we ordered. First bartender was a little stiff at first but he got better as the evening went on, the other bartender (a lady) was fantastic. Very interactive and fun. Will be back!!

The crab dip is divine - very rich and easily shared by 4 people. Unlike other places, you can see and taste the chunks of crab in it. Two of us had the crab cakes, which similarly, were stuffed with lump crab meat and light on fillers. One of us had the lobster roll special, which is his favorite meal there, as it's filled with lobster meat. One of us had the blackened grouper sandwich which is delicious - right amount of spice, good size piece of fish, and buttery bun. We ordered the Mac's Private Label Chardonnay and were happily surprised with its price point considering how fabulous it was!

1) Had the Broiled Platter, which was a nice selection of Salmon, Shrimp, Scallops and Lobster. All was good, but the lobster was cool vs warm. 2) Had the Peel & Eat Shrimp. Prefer smaller shrimp not cooked in Old Bay type seasonings. 3) Thought the drinks were a good value. Especially the wine (ZD Chardonnay). 4) Ordered Happy Hour Oysters only to find out when I got the bill the Indian River & Alabama oysters I ordered were not part of the Happy Hour selection. 5) A selection Stout or Porter beers would be great.

I found Mac’s by doing a Google search. We had eaten the prior day next door at Mac’s Chophouse in the middle of a 2700mi southeast road trip. Emma was our server during a Thursday night with live music. We started with the blackened shrimp cobb salad before the broiled market platter polished off with a beautiful slice of key lime pie. We highly recommend both restaurants!
