Wonderful anniversary brunch for our first time experience. Cranberry mimosas were delicious and the food was magnificent. The SEC with a side of duck fat gravy as as delicious there and even reheated well the next day. Nothing remained. The pancake special was deliciously fall with apples and all the warm spice. We will definitely be back for dinner! This is a true gem.

Mac’s is a unique and delicious culinary experience! The atmosphere is cozy and inviting. Whether you go for smash burgers, the date night menu or the new wine pairing dinner, you will be pleasantly surprised, impressed and satisfied. My recommendation is to try them all!! I love Mac’s!!

Excellent food and unbeatable service we were provided. My husband and I celebrated his birthday, the server even brought out some candles for his dessert. The only issue/complaint I had was the location of the dining table we sat at. It’s situated right in front of the entrance and the cold air would hit me every time someone opened it. Maybe re-configuring the dining tables could be a thought for them in the future. Noise; it was fairly loud but it’s an intimate close seating setting so it’s not in the control of the staff. We will definitely be back and recommend visiting this restaurant to family/friends!

Had an incredible meal of creative farm to table dishes. We sampled and shared from the garden section and had every entree. Wonderfully creative. Restaurant was refreshingly quiet. Great wine list and lovely cocktail creations.

Very neat little restaurant that you’ll miss if you don’t know where to look. Seasonal menu and well priced. Loved every dish we had. Will be back for sure to try something new.

Everything was FRESH! FRESH! FRESH! Delicious example of using fresh ingredients from local sources presented elegantly. The sides were an amazing combination of flavors. We feasted with our eyes before we ever lifted a fork. Next visit we will definitely try the date night special.

Ordered beef tips and they were so tough it was almost impossible to eat. Portions were very small for the money. Poor choices for cocktails. Would not recommend or go back.

My friend and I had a really high expectations for Mac’s after following along on social for many months. We came to the restaurant for brunch and ordered the special beef sandwich, cocktail, burger, and fries. We paid about $30 each but the fries himself for a shocking $11. We both commented on how our meals lacked flavor and were overcooked. Neither of us finished the entrees for that reason. I would’ve love to give a five star rating to Mac’s and expected to be wowed but we walked away “disappointed” :/

Mac's chicken of the woods dish is simply one of the best things I have ever eaten! The best restaurants in the Chattanooga area! We love the ambience and the beautiful food and drinks! Staff is stellar too!

This was a lovely date night experience! We went about an hour before closing. Excellent and kind staff, knowledgeable of their items, overall, a beautiful experience! 10/10 Looking forward to returning for brunch!

Mac’s has now become one of our favorite date night spots. Their menu changes with each season and we have found favorites each time. Don’t leave without trying the cornbread with honey butter, the field peas, and any of the desserts. The staff is always friendly and the service is top notch.

While the food was overall delicious, some of the dishes are expensive, which is fine if the dish is absolutely outstanding but the peri peri half chicken plate with 3 tomato slices and a small handful of blistered shishito peppers was $38 before tax and it left us somewhat disappointed that we chose a dish that expensive (my husband and I split the dish). While the overall dish had a good taste, the chicken was slightly drier than ideal and we were not overly impressed with the peri peri sauce - it was good but I felt like it was something I could have made at home. If I am going to go out to a restaurant and spend $38 on a dish, I want to be blown away and left to question how they performed such a food miracle. Especially when it comes to chicken dishes, chicken is much cheaper than beef or seafood, so to charge that much for the dish and it not blow you away, it falls a little flat. The mushroom grits, however, were amazing! A perfect balance of texture, umami, and sweet. The eggplant/baba ghanoush dish was interesting but I felt like it was missing just a hint of salt and spice. The overall ambiance of the restaurant was fantastic! While I haven't tried other items on their menu, the food that we did have did not necessarily make us want to come back - and this is based on the price. There are many amazing restaurants in Chattanooga and I think that if I am going to spend that much on dinner there are other places that I feel meet a better quality to price ratio. However, if you have not been to Mac's Kitchen, it is worth checking out at least once and making your own opinion. You may feel differently than I do, or you may have a dish that I didn't have that knocks your socks off.

It was our first time and we had the most wonderful meal. The brisket and cornbread was the most delicious thing I've ever tasted! It was a very hot day and the restaurant was a little warm. It might help turning down the air before it fills up. I'll be back for sure and can't wait until the weather is nice enough to eat outside!

I was very disappointed in our meal, there was not enough proteins to choose from. The ones that were on the menu just did not meet up to the price associated with the options. Farm to table does not work all the time, you need to source other items when the need calls for it. Options are also nice when dining out. The drinks were very good and plenty of house made options to choose from. Our server was friendly and super fun. I wish you all the best with your new brick and mortar location. I hope to visit it in the future. But hoping for more options.

The only reason I gave the overall experience 4 stars was because they were out of so many menu items. But it was a Monday, their end of the week. I went with friends and family and we had a wonderful dinning experience, food was thoughtful, comforting and delicious. The staff and service was on point! We all will be back!

I anticipate that this restaurant will become nationally known. I am fortunate enough to be able to eat out at great restaurants. This restaurant has surpassed many that I have dined in recent years. The flavor, quality of the food and selection cannot be beaten. Standing ovation!

Mac’s Kitchen and Bar is the shot in the arm Chattanooga never knew it needed. The “farm to the table conceptional is exceptional!” I devoured “the Mushroom Grits,” and I typically hate grits. Get your tastebuds ready. You’re about to experience an explosion of flavor!

Absolutely one of my favorite local meals! The food was outstanding- best carrots, best beets, and very best trout I have ever had. Yummy squash and grits and of course the bread pudding and was outstanding!
