In the heart of Marietta Square, Mac's Chophouse is a modern-vintage revival of the classic American steakhouse. Our menu highlights a thoughtful approach to locally-sourced ingredients and hearty, flavor-rich cuisine. We distinctly pair choice cuts of USDA Prime steak, sustainable seafood, and decadent desserts with a highly-curated bar program of craft cocktails, premium reserve wines, and an extensive bourbon selection. This used to be our go to special meal location. Our last two trips have been less than fabulous, especially for the price. My grouper was way too salty. I could only eat about a third of it. The steak my husband ordered was overcooked (same as last visit). I will say the dessert was amazing!

Food was great. My husband inquired about beer selections on tap. Server was reluctant to give him the list, and asked him what kind of beer he preferred and she would recommend one. He simply wanted his options. This was odd.

Our second batch of oysters did not taste fresh, and it took a while to receive our drink order; however, everything else was great!

Great spot for lunch, we had a delicious lunch and were able to conduct business conversation. Our server was wonderful, and even though we got a parking ticket for going 2 minutes over the two hours (due to the pouring rain)- we still had a great time.

We had reservations.We got cseated immediately.Our service was good. The view from upstairs was excellent at overlook Marietta square. We had a mac margarita and it was amazing. And the appetizer and food was good as well.

Food and service are unmatched. Michelle and Sophie were our waitresses, they were both wonderful. Mac’s always do anniversary’s special.

This is the second time we have been to Mac’s. We loved it the first time and have thought about it since then. The service and venue is great and top tier, but we were a little disappointed in our food this time. Our steaks were cooked well, but the steak itself wasn’t as tender and high quality as a $70 steak should be. The steak was pretty tough and we were both unimpressed, especially after being wowed when we visited a year ago. The sides and desserts were great though.
