Service was great. We were able to visit with relatives who were in tow. And never felt rushed. Food was excellent.

We had been given a certificate to Mackey’s as a wedding gift. Not knowing what to expect we headed in to enjoy the free meal. I made reservations online and we were promptly taken care of at the door. Our server was excellent—he clearly had experience likely in a higher-end setting but was very good at being the perfect amount of pleasant and competent for this restaurant. And that’s not a slam, we expected less from a “sports bar” but were pleased that it was a solid notch better. The steaks were fantastic, perfectly prepared, and I will 100% be back for some of the gnocchi side dish!!

They are new and having some growing pains (Friday night at 630 they were already out of certain dishes and ingredients for others). But the food we ate was delicious. Some things incredibly so. the management is lovely and I will be back. Looking forward to watching Mackies blossom into a popular local eatery with more people in the dining room than the bar. Although I loved having the dining room just for my group. I never write reviews but this is going to be a winner of a restaurant. Big favorites were the mixed olives -which were in a marinade that was amazing. Wings of various types, the 12 oz hanger steak for my husband and the 6 oz for my son. Salads and the key lime pot. And the gorgeous crab cake sandwitch. Yum.

We chose this restaurant from reviewing Yelp and found it to be just as described. The good was good and the service was fine. It is rather small and nondescript as atmosphere goes but a good value. Would return again.

I came in for lunch on Valentine's Day, and was seated promptly in the dining room. The staff were very professional, prompt, courteous, and attentive without being overbearing. I ordered the dry-aged burger (medium rare) with fries - it came out in a timely manor, and let me tell you that it was probably the best burger that I've ever had. The meat is so tasty and it was cooked to perfection, served in a brioche bun and comes with aged cheddar and sautéed mushrooms. DELISH! Also of note, the fries are boardwalk style and a perfect match to the burger. I left feeling full and satisfied after a great dining experience. Would definitely recommend, and I'll definitely be back.

We have been to Mackie’s many times and have always enjoyed it - great American food with a few fun twists on the menu. We ended up here during restaurant week and honestly it was a little disappointing. Food took well over an hour getting out and one person in our group didn’t get the restaurant week menu, so he ended up waiting a very long time for a steak sandwich (however it did look quite delicious). Steak on the restaurant week menu was well seasoned, but pretty tough (even at medium temperature) - have gotten a great steak here several times before, so it may have just been the cut. The key lime pie was a hit as always. We will be back, but probably just for the regular menu when they are less slammed.

Waited for almost 30 minutes after being seated and no one stopped by. Understand it was a busy night but don’t book a reservation if you can’t even check in on a table to let them know you’re busy. To add insult to injury, the surrounding tables were helped multiple times.
