   Had a amazing experience on a date with my girlfriend we loved the drinks we went during happy hour and took advantage of the floral cart we have traveled all over the world and this was a amazing experience and from people who traveled all around a lot this was a top 5 experience for us so far!!!

   We visited Machine to celebrate my spouse's birthday and we were pleasantly surprised by nearly the entire experience. The food was absolutely amazing, and did not sit heavy at all. The drinks were creative and delicious. The ambiance was beautiful and it was not too loud (we could easily hear each other), and the tables were not too close together. We will absolutely be going back as soon as possible.

   My wife and I enjoy coming here for the food, cocktails, and ambiance. Machine delivers in all 3 of those areas exceptionally well. The cocktails here are always unique, taste good, AND creative. The bar staff really knows how to deliver!

    The atmosphere is nice. Seems lame though to have such a nicely designed space and such a mediocre bathrm like a high school stall. The floral thing was great but we had to ask the waiter to make sure she came to us in time cuz it was taking so long. Some of the drinks are a bit too flavored. A bit more simplicity would be nice for a few. So many had such overwhelming flavors it wasn’t necessary. Only had the fries and those were tasty. Pretty nice place for a date.

    Great experience overall! a few small issues that were completely rectified - I did the preselected bouquet that was supposed to be waiting for us at the table. Having arrived about 10 mins early to our reservation it wasn't there and did not appear until after the appetizer. Additionally, the wrong entrée was brought out but the correct one was sent immediately after! While the experience was great even with a few hiccups, the manager was very kind to bring out a complementary champagne for us. Great service, amazing drinks and good food.

    My friends and I were so excited for a girls night out & this place did not disappoint. The service was great. We ordered the machine burgers and they were so juicy and delicious. When the food arrived, we were told everything it was made out of. I felt excited to eat and drink after every explanation. The drinks were so delicious. Best drinks I’ve ever tried. Each drink is its own experience. 90 minutes is more than enough time to enjoy yourself.

    Went to Machine for my birthday and it was absolutely gorgeous! I opted for the florist to create a bouquet for me and I loved the arrangements. The service was a bit slow but the food and atmosphere made up for it. I understand most restaurants are not the same with staffing post pandemic so it was no big deal. I highly recommend checking this unique restaurant out if you’re new to Chicago or just looking for a nice place to dine for your special occasion. Thanks Machine!! I’ll be back!

    We enjoyed everything about our food and drinks, but we were disappointed that we had to wait more than 20 minutes past our reservation time to get our table. This was quite annoying given the emphasis on the website and by the host staff that there was a 90 minute time limit for dining. If there was a time limit on dining why did we have to wait for our table? We also wanted to praise the secondary wait staff who brought out our food and cleared the table. They seemed genuinely excited about what was being served, answered questions well, and even noticed when we needed extra bread for mussels broth … very attentive and friendly. We would definitely dine there again.

    Drinks are visually impressive but taste doesn’t live up to the presentations. Not bad, but lacking complexity. The real problem was being rushed constantly. They told us we had 90 minutes to eat. Fine. 60 minutes in, they tell us our time is almost up. I pointed out that it had only been an hour, and the server insisted “They told you when you were seated you would only have 90 minutes because we have to seat another party.” As they serve us our second round of drinks. It would have been nice to enjoy the 90 minutes we were given, but instead we drank as quickly as we could do we could leave on the dot. No restaurant that costs $70+ per person should treat their customers that way.

    Absolutely loved it. The drinks are definitely eye catching and fun to experience. Got fresh flowers from the flower cart and the florist was super helpful and nice. Our server was knowledgeable, suggestive, and attentive without being intrusive. I would definitely come back for another date night or come with a group of friends so we can try all the cool drinks! Food was delicious and steak was cooked to perfection.

    My husband and I had reservations here on Sunday 10/30. For our anniversary. Being from out of town we were so excited and looking forward to this!! Our appetizer was incredible. Then. We ordered the dry aged NY strip for our entree. Medium rare. We waited 45mins for it. When it finally arrived it was cooked well done and was cold. When we said something and the manager apologized and ordered us another one. We waited another 30mins for that one. This one was cooked a little closer to how we had ordered it but was so charred on the ends all you could taste was burnt. We didn’t want to wait any longer. So we said it was ok and asked for our check. We were still charged full price for everything, which is fine. We had put on our reservation that it was our anniversary and we’re excited for the table side flower cart. It never came to our table. Every table around us. My husband even went up to the counter where she was at and asked if she could shop by. But she never did. It was just over all very disappointing when we were so excited to try this place.

    Went here with a group; it was all of our first time and we all loved it! It's rare to find a place where the food and drinks are not only incredibly aesthetic/unique looking, but also taste amazing and are reasonably priced (most brunch entrees were around $15). The glazed pork and potato hash was delicious, as was the maple breakfast sandwich. The Firebird drink was gorgeous and so easy to drink (tasted like strawberry lemonade). Will definitely be back!

    To start on a good note, the restaurant has a great interior and a nice vibe. Great aesthetics for social media. However, the drinks do not live up to their expectation. The whole point of this place is to have 'cool engineered drinks' as displayed on their IG page. I ordered their 'Caged and Infused' cocktail which is supposed to be served with a small hammer so you can break the violet candy cage on top of it. I didn't get the hammer with the drink so it made it hard to sip on the cocktail with a huge candy cage floating on top of my drink. Used a fork to break it. Disappointing. (This was my first visit) 2nd visit: My friend ordered a cute mocktail with a flower in it. It was served in a completely different glass with a straw in it. No flower. It was five of us and my friend didn't like one of the cocktails, so we asked if we can switch the cocktail with a different one. They gave us a hard time about it. The manager said "did the server not explain the drink to you?" You know what was in it. Attitude! They ended up replacing our drink after 30 minutes. The server also disappeared on us. Had to wave at him to get his attention. Average customer service. It's $15.00 vs all the money we spent on food and drinks that night. Just replace one cocktail if you want to provide satisfactory customer service. First restaurant I've been to where they gave us a hard time for a beverage we truly did not like.
