MacDuff’s Restaurant is a quaint Bahamian outpost that has been around for quite some time. It was originally known as a landmark for boat men to meet over a burger on the island. Daily Items include tropical flare like, our fresh caught grouper sandwich, sandwiches, salads and our famous cheese burger from paradise. With a pleasant, mellow vibe fitting of island life, the rustic chic appeal and exposed wood beams are designed to give patrons a relaxed island experience while enjoying the delights of American and Bahamian cuisine. We had two boats on charter, 9 people total and made reservations weeks in advance. We planned our itinerary and provisions around eating at MacDuffs. After receiving multiple requests to confirm we were coming from open table we were told by Norman’s Cay marina that MacDuffs was closed for the season. Odd because it was only July 7th. We couldn’t believe it, so we waited until they opened at 6 pm to call MacDuffs and no answer. Called multiple times and nothing…Terrible experience with a side of attitude from Normans Cay Marina. No thank you. Won’t be back near this island ever again, waste of time.

It's a great and really only place on Norman cay besides the yacht club which is perfect for dinner

They raise their prices a little to much ! Use to be nice and affordable but now it’s too expensive for the value..!

Food and staff were great. We are staying at the marina and was a welcome juicy cheeseburger and fries. We enjoyed it.

We had a great time at McDuffs. Everyone was very friendly, service was great and food was also very good. A great stop on our sail to Norman’s Cay.

Took some clients to eat here for the first time. The food was amazing. Our waitress was to busy on her phone and hardly checked up on us. We ordered a bottle of wine and a cup was missing out of the bottle already. We was told that the bar tender ad to taste it to make sure it was good.

Just had an amazing dinner at McDuff’s on Normans Cay in the Exumas, Bahamas, and it was everything we could’ve hoped for! The vibe there is so chill, perfect for a relaxing evening after a day out on the water. For dinner, I went with the Caribbean Bowl, and let me tell you, it was a flavor-packed delight! 🍲 The bowl came loaded with grilled chicken, savory rice and beans, fresh corn, tangy pickled onions, crunchy cabbage slaw, and creamy avocado slices. Every bite was a perfect mix of textures and flavors, totally hit the spot! I also couldn’t resist getting a side of fried plantains—crispy on the outside, soft and sweet on the inside. They were the perfect complement to the meal! 🍌 To wash it all down, I opted for a virgin mango daiquiri. 🥭🍹 It was super refreshing with that perfect balance of sweet and tangy, and just look at that vibrant color! Topped with a cherry and a slice of orange, it was the ideal tropical drink to pair with the meal. If you’re ever at Normans Cay in the Exumas, McDuff’s is a must-visit. The food is awesome, the drinks are on point, and the setting is just what you need for a laid-back island experience.

Ok… so it’s expensive, everything in the Exumas is. Getting past that, our family had a great experience with them “getting” the special needs of our baby and toddler by preparing a fruit plate immediately, second to non anywhere in the Bahamas. The staff were friendly, attentive… so far as that goes in the Bahamas. Our food was really quite good! The whole ambiance there was cool and the free ride from the marina just adds to the experience. Don’t just subscribe to the whiners that don’t like to pay for anything off their boat, go enjoy yourself and this is now one of our favorite food stops in the Exumas!!
