We had squid ink fettuccine, risotto marinara, and gnocchi, and pizza. They all tasted amazing!! We had a really good dinner time.

The Pappardelle Lamb Ragu was the highlight of the meal for me—the Napoli sauce combined with the wide pasta was addictive, while the lamb was cooked to the perfect texture (soft but not too soft like mince meat). Capricciosa pizza was not too oily and had a good crust and base that was chewy. Not the most impressive pizza I have ever eaten but still a very good one as the ricotta cheese elevated the pizza’s flavour. Focaccia Yourself was not quite worth its price, it was $18 for 3 pieces and 3 dips (of which I only really enjoyed one of it). Ravioli Butter and Sage was an interesting dish that I had never tried before, the texture of the ravioli was very satisfying (just the right amount of bite to it) and the sauce and toppings worked well with the creamy filling. Pricewise, it may not be as worth it for some since it cost the same as the Pappardelle Lamb Ragu ($28) but is smaller in size and had no meat or vegetables. Spaghetti Carbonara was a satisfactory one, but nothing to shout about, although I did like that they gave a lot of pancetta. Overall, service was good albeit a little slow for a Tuesday night, but the servers were all very friendly. The space is not too small but as with many restaurants in Melbourne, it can get quite noisy so perhaps go during lunchtime if you want a more conducive environment to talk. Definitely will recommend if you only care about the food though!

Food is absolutely superb. For 90 mins I felt like I could be eating in Italy. Everything we ordered was delicious, hot and portion sizes are perfect.

We had a lovely dining experience at this hidden gem. It wasquite busy for a Sunday evening, luckily we had a booking . Despite the crowd, staff were still attentive and food came out quickly. Absolutely delicious and well made. Would highly recommend and come back again.

The restaurant smells so good, it makes it difficult to choose what to order. The pastas are very popular choices and their signature maccoroni dish hit the spot on a cold, wet melbourne afternoon. I'll be back again to try all the other pastas!
