Mabel's BBQ- A Michael Symon Restaurant at The Palms Casino
My dad was visiting and was looking for a new place to try. The service was phenomenal. Our waitress was friendly. Food was amazing!!! Highly recommend.
Burnt ends had a lot of fat , ribs had too much rub , cracklins had too much salt on them. Macaroni and cheese was very good. We are from the Cleveland area and that Mabel’s is much better.
Absolutely incredible! The food, service and ambiance deserve 5 stars!
The BBQ ribs-Texas style were good. I think the Thanksgiving dinner was not good.
The smoked turkey was outstanding and very moist! The kale salad with apple cider vinegar dessing was delicious and unique.
We went on Thanksgiving. The thanksgiving offering of smoked turkey and the regular menu items were fantastic as was the service. I rated the ambiance as a 3 due to our being seared upstairs in the loft area where there was only us and another table. It was also cold up there. The atmosphere down stairs was great that we could tell.
Thanksgiving menu was awesome.
Thanksgiving dinner. Turkey was perfectly moist and thick, and enough slices to satisfy.
thanksgiving dinner was surprisingly good but the service we received just about ruined the meal 😐
Your greeted immediately with a warmth and smiles. Our server was very helpful and informative. The food is all about BBQ and it did not disappoint! The table had a variety of sauces to try... all were good. We ordered the pig parts which were delicious. Then we tried the giant beef rib and amazing pork belly! So good and flavorful! The sides were just as good... we’re talking Mac n’ cheese and cornbread! Yum! Generous portions left us full and there were leftovers to enjoy later! Definitely will be coming back for sure!! Great service and delicious food!!
Great time and food
They should sell the dry rub, it was some of the best I’ve ever had
The food was amazing
Our server was super sweet
Michael was there, cane over so I could meet him and was so nice
We will return
Great variety of bbq meats. Service was excellent - Other servers even stopped by when they saw a water 1/2 way full to fill it up as needed. The entire staff was personable and made us feel like family. We had an awesome time!
Fantastic BBQ! Great variety and large portion. Chef Symon was there and checked on us himself.
The food was delicious! Our waitress was not that good and no one was in there. We ordered the pork spare ribs, burnt tips, meatloaf sandwich, greens, cornbread, mac n’ cheese, and the baked beans. The baked beans were soooo good! We were there for a Birthday Celebration and had a great time despite the poor service from our server.
It was a bit loud with all TVs blaring. Another complaint I had, which is not major, is that the booth tables were too small for the large individual plates for each person and the rectangular serving trays the food came on. Smaller plates would work. Food was excellent. Service was excellent.
Food is excellent. Had the all you can eat brunch. Everything was very good. Great service. Burnt Ends, Turkey and Pork Belly are my favorites.
Most of our food was good as well as the service.
The cinnamon roll was not. It was very dry and not worth the value.
I complained to the waiter, and his answer was “It’s supposed to be dry”. For $16 you might want to bake a better cinnamon roll.
I would of loved to have the cinnamon roll taken off my bill or at least replaced with a better one.
The rest of the food was excellent.
I wouldn’t recommend your restaurant because my complaint was ignored. We went there on a recommendation that the food was top notch.
Food was good, service was good, we would have preferred a little quieter but overall we had a good time.
Awesome food and service. Great view of all tv screens. Beautifully designed dining room and decor.
Good menu variety. Central location on the casino floor near the sports book.
Awesome Chefs. Could use better tables for large parties. Food was amazing. As good as real Texas BBQ. Sides are on point, very gourmet taste with a family style serving.
Food was outstanding and service ok.
Riibs were delicious. Also had the pork belly tacos which were very good. Food was filling.
As a celebrity chef restaurant, it’s all about the food & drink. Michael Symon meet expectations & delivered more. Everything we ordered although familiar to BBQ was taken to higher level. Meats were tasty & tender. Sides (baked beans, cornbread, beets & coleslaw) as well as accompanying sauerkraut & pickles were reconsidered in their versions.
Absolutely love this place . I couldn't stop eating the food. Went multiple times. I'm not a big meat eater, but everything was outstanding. The staff probably thought I had an eating disorder. Thanks do much! I will be back.
We were seated quickly and were told that the menu is ala cart. I had the pork sandwich. It was a huge sandwich (I had to take half of it home) The pork was a little dry and I did not like the flavor of the bun as it had a strong wheat flavor. I also had the greens which were okay. I hate when they chop up the stems and include them with the greens. My spouse had the brisket (one piece lean and the other one moist) the moist brisket was very good. He also had the potatoes which hands down was the best thing I ate!
Absolutely the best bar-b-que in Vegas
When making reservations I should have been told about the fact we could only pay $29.99 at that time for all you can eat. Not a bad deal, but one person in my party only wanted a salad. Also the website shows this is the home of the dawg pound with drink specials which led us to believe we could watch the Browns (we are from Cleveland) game while there. We asked and was able to watch a quarter and a half before it was changed. The drink specials were not available or offered, only unlimited drinks for $29.99. Mr. Symon needs to remove the dawg pound reference or enforce it.
We stopped for brunch before a play. The food is delicious, and you definitely get your money's worth for the $29 brunch price. My only complaint is we assumed there were regular menu items/meals available in addition to the one price brunch option. Not everyone in our party was interested in paying the brunch price but were forced to because there was no other option. Otherwise, we all agreed we would definitely go back. The brisket, burnt ends and kielbasa were some of the best I've eaten.
The beans were great too. The sauerkraut and pickles were tasty as well. All in all, delicious!
Wonderful food & drinks. Ribs were fall off the bone like none other I've tasted. Baked beans tasted great & Sauerkraut was spicy flavorful and tasty. The drinks were masterfully made with fresh ingredients.
Food and service were both amazing! There was a large group with several rambunctious kids (i.e. loud) in the back area where we were first seated. The hostess and waitress both helped in getting us moved to another table in a much quieter section. There we received great service and the most tender ribs EVER! The burnt ends were delicious also, as were the sides, the cocktails, and everything! Excellent evening!
The "Cracklins" were the best! The vinegar was subtle and we could hear them still crackling on our plate, and were very light. It was my first time tasting Cincinnati style BBQ, and I have to say I liked it a lot! The ribs were delicious (a bit more salty than I'm use to...and JFYI, I I tend to like salty foods). I'm hoping I'll be able to return on my next visit to Las Vegas!
Enjoyed our meal, service was good and food arrived quickly. Just wanted it to be hotter. Ordered a margarita which was good but could taste no alcohol for $16. But that seems to be the normal for restaurants in Las Vegas.
Our waiter didn’t return after serving our meal. We had to ask another waitress that was very nice. However, our original was 30 feet talking with other customers. The quantity of food does not match the price.
I loved the sauces and sides. We had the sausage and the dry rub pork ribs. They were both good but not great. The sauce made it great.
First it was a Sunday afternoon during football games, cheering all the time. No big deal for us though, we like the games too. Happy hour pork rinds were great. The beef rib to split between the two of us was a excellent idea. Finished off with a flight of bourbon was like icing on the cake! We have been here before, will definitely be back! Too full for desert, the beef rib is massive!
The serving sizes should be smaller on the brunch so you can try more options.
Hubby and I really enjoyed this meal. We had brisket, end brisket, sausage and the greens. Greens were sooo good! Loved the bbq sauces. One was really hot. Can’t remember what it was called but it was spicy! Had great flavour but a bit too hot for me. Loved the other three. Yum! Will definitely be back :)
We had a party of seven celebrating a birthday. Restaurant was moderately busy. Ordered several delicious things to share including burnt ends, dry rub chicken wings, smoked turkey, mac & cheese, sandwich, etc. The homemade pickles and sauerkraut were delicious. Our service was average. We had to continually look for the waitress to get cocktail refills. The water was never refilled. I’ve been here before and the food is always excellent. Next time I will definitely take it to go.
