Took my father in law here for his birthday because he’s never had Hot Pot. We all enjoyed the experience but for over $200 including tip it just wasn’t at that caliber that I felt we should have paid that much. Me and my wife ordered drinks and server said that’ll be up in 5 minutes. So we went to the condiment bar to grab our stuff which was about 5-8 minutes. Came back to the table and our drinks were there. So we waited a little longer and still no drinks. So we flagged down our server and he said he will go check on them. My beer came but my wife waited an additional 10 minutes for her drink. So it was roughly 30-35 minutes just to get a drink. Food came quickly. Was a fun experience but the quality of the food was very poor. So we all decided that this was a one and done for us.

Recently open and definitely had to check it out. Went there for Father's day and absolutely didn't disappoint. Portions a bit smaller than most places but it's ok for me. You can just keep ordering the meat that go with it and you have the hot pot with the BBQ you will be full. It's worth it . I love how they have a lot of varieties for their the hot pot and a having a few desserts too was awesome. What I didn't see is the tebboki ? ( hope i spelled it right) You will enjoy the immersive part of the dinning. And service was very excellent 100% and fast. Any wait staff takes out the empty plates and asked for your needs regardless who is assigned to your table. Our server Allen was very accommodating and receptive. Kudos to the management You dont wait for your dining needs. My family loves the place and my husband who is hard to please has high praises. We would definitely come back and experience more. The ambience itself was normal as it's father's day and it's pack. It's one restaurant that you want to tell people to experience A lot of Korean BBQ places are popping out but this one is definitely one for the books.

We had such a great time at Maax last night. The food was delicious and the waiter was so helpful. We have had hot pot in China and Philly before but really like the system here with the buffet of veggies and sauces. My husband loved the soft serve ice cream machine too. Would highly recommend trying this for fun night out.

The portions were smaller than most places like this but that's not a bad thing. No food was wasted. I would definitely take my family back.
