   Delicious food creatively served in appealing design. Recommend the tasting menu so you can savor everything MAASS has to offer. If sitting at the bar like we did, Adam is kind and a great guide for the experience. I’m still thinking about the PB&J Foie Gras and the yellowtail crudo. 😋

   i’m plant based and they were soo good about accommodating me!! it’s hard to find original vegan options a lot of places will just tell you to get a salad. 10/10 fr! thank you to the chef and staff!!

   I usually avoid writing negative reviews, but I felt compelled to share my recent experience on Mother’s Day, as it was deeply disappointing. Upon arrival, we were seated at a plastic table the kind of table kids do painting on it. The staff uniforms lacked elegance, and several servers were wearing Jordans or dirty sneakers, which didn’t match the upscale atmosphere the restaurant seems to aim for. Service was disorganized: our food arrived before we even received napkins or silverware. The meal itself only added to our frustration. The short rib was overwhelmingly fatty and left untouched by my son and myself. As for the starters, we were served banana bread and cornbread, neither of which felt special or elevated. Banana bread, in particular, felt like something thrown together at home with overripe fruit, rather than a refined beginning to a celebratory meal. The main course continued the letdown. The mashed potatoes was very liquid with no flavor , and the so-called “truffle bread pudding” lacked depth and coherence. The sea bass was overcooked and dry. Then came the worst thing the dessert : essentially a fluffy pancake with melted vanilla ice cream and maple syrup. Comon! I don’t go to a Michelin-rated restaurant to be served a simple pancake not even good. As a French person with a deep appreciation for refined cuisine, this meal felt not only poorly executed but also disrespectful especially on a day meant to honor mothers. I chose this restaurant over my usual favorite, and I deeply regret it. To be fair, the space itself is stunning from the kitchen to the bar, but presentation, service, and overall culinary execution need serious work. Thank you for the madeleine at the end as a little gift, but even that was overly sweet and unnecessarily glazed. Perhaps it’s a nod to American palates, but subtlety in sweetness can be just as impactful. I truly hope this feedback encourages refinement.

   We took some friends to Maass for dinner last night and as usual everyone just loved it. The food and service were amazing. My wife and I had the tasting menu and our friends chose to order from the Al a carte menu. They couldn’t stop talking about how great their food was. Since we have been there a number of times we expected that. Our tasting menu was exceptional The service was just outstanding, we started with a young lady who was gracious and very helpful. Then David took over and he was delightful as well. The entire team were all very friendly and professional. As they described every plate that was delivered to the table. We had a fantastic time and we all agreed to go back again.

   Totally overwhelmed with the quality and ambience and friendly staff and welcome. We had brunch and the eggs Benedict with the crab brioche was so delicious. They make their brioche daily and my friend had the Japanese style pancake which was so fluffy with a sweet sauce. Can’t recommend it more highly.

   food was amazing The setting is stunning. The music choice is inappropriate and awful clubhouse music for a Michelin star restaurant a terrible disconnect. Somebody should lose their job over this. You are a Michelin star restaurant.

   The food was good but honestly felt down a bit from before they received their star. It's almost like the star gave them the right to charge more and reduce the quality. Service was great and the chef's counter is a great experience. I would forgo the A5 and the caviar. Overpriced for the supplement. Buy a bottle of wine you like versus the pairing.

    Food is overall good, does it deserve a one star Michelin? Perhaps in the US but certainly not in Europe or Asia. The plates are OK but not extremely creative and some (the crabcake rice for example) are just bland. The menu is overall short. The wine list, while extensive, is extremely overpriced and that is a pity. Charging tip automatically on the whole bill, including alcohol, is also not welcome. Doubt we will repeat, sorry.
