Casually asked 2 Indian chaps relatively new to Jacksonville where I could find the best Indian restaurant in the area. They both immediately said "Maa Kitchen". Absolutely did not disappoint! We had an amazing meal. The biggest difficulty we encountered was trying to decide what to order from their huge and enticing menu. We will be regular customers for sure.

While the restaurant shows an available menu, if you go for lunch the only option they allow is the buffet. That said, the food was very good and there were lots of vegetarian and non-veg options available. Items on the buffet were well flavored, not overly spicy.

Food was very good but service was very slow and seemed most could not speak English to effectively help answer questions about the menu. Took over an hour to get food.

We had a wonderful first dining experience on Valentine's Day at Maa Kitchen Indian Restaurant. The selection on the menu was extensive. The food was excellent! The prices were very reasonable. The service we received was extremely personal and attentive. I believe this will be one of our favorite restaurants in the Jacksonville area!

The food was good as was the service. They definitely need to get another bartendar. The lady that came over was very unprofessional. She could not make a martini, and when I tried to tell her, she didn't listen. My grandson ordered an old-fashion. She didn't know how to make that either. Her hair was very long and she kept twitching it about. Not a good idea where food is being served. She made us a moscow mule, and rather than embarassing her, we ordered it. Not a good experience.

The food is absolutely superb but the service is a bit slow and inattentive. As long as u dont mind waiting for a drink refill or your order taken, the food makes coming here well worth it.

Since moving from the northeast, we have tried almost every Indian restaurant in Jacksonville and MAA Kitchen is the best. Everything tastes freshly made, and there are always pleasant surprises. You know its freshly made because the food trickles out piping hot the first 15 minutes after the lucnh buffet opens up.
Many times you see the chef carrying out one of the main dishes he just finished. We go for the Sunday lunch buffet as brunch, and there are always a few different dishes that keep it exciting, while the more common dishes are always very well made and reliably yummy. I appreciate that they put signs out for all dishes so you can remember the ones you've liked best.

This place has a yummy buffet for lunches which is when I go, being so close to work. It’s aclittle spicier than other Indian restaurants but I like that.
