Always a treat to eat here. I enjoyed the dinner special, tenderloin pieces and a Roquefort souffle, very much. My son ordered the Boeuf Bourguignon as usual and was not disappointed. Lovely place to eat. Ma Maison has consistently excellent food and service.

Pretty good, I enjoyed clalf’s liver. However my friend received lamb shank cold inside, removed 1 star in food category. Ambience- nice, but also my friend had a seat at the window with electric heater facing her all dinner, what was uncomfortable…

Very nice food, service and ambiance. Not everything was super, but a lot of it was. Service was very nice, as well. Just give yourself plenty of time to find a parking space (the garages in the area are exorbitant)

Four of us dined at MaMaison on a cold Sunday evening. We were welcomed so warmly and seat right away. The server was outstanding and his recommendations were spot on. Three of the four had the roasted cod and were blown away by its taste. Fresh, perfectly cooked, every bite succulent. I had veal chop with mushroom sauce. It was gorgeous. The veal was cooked perfectly, as recommended by our server. It was accompanied by potatoes, broccoli and Brussels spouts. Every bite was delicious. We opted to share chocolate mousse and a trio of sorbets. The thing that shocked me was the bill. I keep looking at it to see why we weren’t charged enough. If they did not include coffee and dessert or what. Turns out that it was ALL on the bill. I can’t imagine such top quality food at such a low price! Our new go-to. Keep in mind it’s a bistro. Seating is a bit tight. But boy the food says it all!

This little French Bistro on the backside of Beacon Hill delivers top notch authentic bistro food. It is an excellent value for the quality, service and typical French bistro atmosphere. I would highly recommend eating hear and have returned many times. Their house Cote de Rhone is excellent.

This gem of a restaurant is our go to in Boston. The atmosphere, service and food make you feel like you are in a French cafe. And, they have Sancerre by the glass! Try any of the fish dishes, they are superb.

Amazing service and delicious food. My partner and I come here every year on our anniversary and absolutely love it every time. It is such a special place to us. Plus the service is spectacular, the environment is lively and romantic and the food is stellar. I always recommend Ma Maison even for just a simple lunch!

We would LOVE to have a restaurant like this near us in Chapel Hill NC. Everything about our experience was more than outstanding. 100 star service; loved our wait person. She was attentive, wise, welcoming, knowledgeable, and personable. The food was excellent, authentic, and beautifully presented. Loved the intimate size of the restaurant and very pleased by the perfect pricing.

Noise level was high. Our table was behind the door coming into the restaurant so it was very tight. Disappointing. Every table was full. Our food was good but a little rushed. But our server was awesome!!

This is my local restaurant to go for celebrations, although I also go without any celebration. The wait staff are wonderful, I am always pleased when my favorite wait person is on, she has been there for many years, which showes that the staff are treated well and they are happy. Happy staff, happy customers.

My 11 year old nephew requested French for his birthday dinner. Having heard about Ma Maison for years, I decided this seemed like a good spot to try out. It did not disappoint. From the moment we walked in (on a cold fall night), we were greeted warmly by the staff and were quickly seated. Soon after, we were presented with complimentary drinks (a Shirley Temple in a coup and a glass of sparkling wine for me) and they wished him a happy birthday. The food was comforting... maybe a bit rustic for some people's taste, but it hit all the notes for me. We had soup and salad to start, followed by entrees (veal for him, salmon for me, both cooked perfectly), and decadent desserts to end the meal (including a flourless chocolate cake topped with a candle). He was thrilled, I was thrilled. What a lovely experience.

Small, tight restaurant with delicious food and nice wines. From the appetizers through main course, everything was perfect. The bread was warm and the mousse was large enough for two as a perfect ending to the meal. You do need to be okay with getting to know your neighbors as the seats are close, but that is part of the experience!

Lovely and charming French restaurant that truly meets the standard of delicious fare! The wait staff was friendly, helpful and informative. Perfect crepe with creamy chicken and mushroom filling, the eggs Benedict on smoked salmon was sublime and the calf’s liver tasty. Will definitely be back!

I was looking for somewhere special for a birthday lunch for my mom and I--we share a birthday. Ma Maison was truly wonderful experience! The food was incredible! The service was impeccable and we were gifted the MOST DELICIOUS macarons for dessert, complete with candles. HIGHLY recommend. It's cozy, the food is delicious and for an hour or two it felt like we were on a side street in Paris! We will be back for dinner very soon! Special thanks to Emelie for making it such a fun and wonderful birthday! We all wanted her to sit and join us. She made the experience even more memorable! Thank you Ma Maison!

We chose Ma Maison for the French dining experience to celebrate a Birthday. It was a delightful mini-vacation experience. The server was attentive and established a friendly tone for the evening. The timing of serving had a comfortable cadence. Each dish, from start to finish, had us smiling. We also appreciated the look of the dishes that our fellow diners were being served. Highly recommend. We are fortunate to have "chef owners" like Jacky Robert sharing their passion and helping to elevate the Boston restaurant scene.

I always like Ma Maison, it is in our neighborhood and is one of the very few authentic French places. I had the duck which was delicious. It is a small place with tables close together, and I wish people would not be so loud! If everyone spoke softly no one would have to yell.

The bread was some of the best I’ve ever had at a restaurant. I got the quail and the lamb, both of which were delicious and my friends got the French onion soup, the smoked salmon, the cod, and the salmon and raved about their meals as well. Delicious food, friendly waitstaff, and great atmosphere.
