Ma Maison was so good that we actually ate there two nights in a row.
Good selections on the menu. Very French. My friend really liked her meal, but mine wasn't quite what was listed on the menu. However, in the end it was corrected. I would definitely go back. The ambiance was great.
One of the best French restaurants I’ve been to. Classic French onion soup. Who would have thought to put thinly sliced nectarines on top of perfectly cooked haddock? Exceptional, and very complementary. Amazed at th3 quality of the food and the reasonable prices. A great place for traditional French cuisine.
Terrific spot. Very French. A little bit of Paris in the Hub.
Ma Maison remains one of my favorite little gems. Food is always delicious, service is great. The other evening proved to be no exception.
First visit; very impressed. Everything was prepared to perfection. Service was excellent. Nothing to complain about.
Great little French restaurant with lots of different entrees and appetizers Highly recommend. Wish I had room for dessert!
Very charming restaurant with impeccable service and delicious food.
The culinary talent of Chef Jacky Roberts is everything and more than I imagined. Absolutely exquisite experience.
This is my go-to spot for date night. Being from France myself, it reminds me of Michelin star restaurant in Paris. On this visit I got the steak tartare, it was balanced and savory, and beautifully presented. My girlfriend orders the foie gras every time we visit and she is never disappointed. Service is top notch and very attentive - my water glass was never empty!
This is by far the best restaurant I’ve ever been to!
Good food and peach Melba is surprising me. It is so delicious!
Excellent service and a very considerate management. We reserved on-line and indicated it was our anniversary. We had hardly been seated when the waitress brought us glasses of sparkling rose, delicious start. We had vichysoisse, which was delicious, followed by duck confit, also delicious, although we both thought it was a little salty. It was served with a very nice mild sausage. Dessert was an excellent peach melba, and we were enjoying it when our waitress brought us a plate with chocolate mousse, which was wonderful. We've eaten there before, and the food was wonderful then, too. Highly recommend the boneless beef ribs.
It's an excellent restaurant, with fine service. It's small so it can be a little loud when it's busy, but overall, a fine dining experience.
The restaurant was quaint, simple and classy French. A place where I feel comfortable inviting family and friends over for any occasion. French comfort food. The noise level goes up when people file in and also due to the small space, but don't let that deter you from the dishes! Our server Julien was amazing! He was courteous and on time with our dishes. He filled up out waters frequently was attentive to our needs.
The service was superb. We all enjoyed our meals. The Eggs Benedict were so delicious Such a delightful restaurant- a little slice of Paris.
Amazing experience dinning at this wonderful restaurant with my friends. Outstanding cuisine and service! Will definitely come back again soon!
This was an absolute experience! My friend and I felt as though we were being transported out of Boston. The food was exceptional, the service was on point and I can not wait to return!
We visited during Boston restaurant week for the first time. I ordered from the rest. week menu, and my friend from the regular menu. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. And, the service was perfect as well. Very pleasant staff, particularly, the woman who was the hostess at the front door.
We will definitely be back.
Outstanding food. Rabbit and snails....okay we didn’t try them... this time. We had veal kidneys- delicious! Calf’s liver and the actual veal tasted great and were super tender. However, the highlight was frog legs. By far the best in Boston (although to be fair, there’s only one Thai place in Salem which has them on their menu). But seriously, they didn’t taste anything like chicken: deep fried and crispy on the outside but perfectly juicy and tender on the inside. Just writing this making me want to return. In short, I’ve had lunch at this place few times - great for business meal or a date with great classic bistro fare. However, for dinner this place truly shines. Excellent and very patient service too. Merci beaucoup!
Awsome French place
Lovely restaurant with delicious food and friendly, professional staff
Absolutely wonderful experience. I was in town for work and came to Ma Maison on a Thursday evening by myself. It was during “Dine Out Boston” (restaurant week) which in some cities and restaurants can mean smaller portions and less than stellar service. This was not the case at Ma Maison. Everyone I encountered, host, server, bartender made sure I was happy and well taken care of. I had the prosciutto appetizer, which tasted so fresh and delicious, the duck entree which was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside and yummy peach Melba for dessert. This was probably one of my top 5 dinner experiences and I would recommend it to anyone looking for great service and delicious food in a beautiful, quaint part of Boston!
Excellent experience all around. Will definitely return.
Ma Maison does it right - great food, great service, good value, cozy atmosphere. Wonderful for lunch or dinner.
This is a lovely place for real French food and where you are not ushered out of the door asap! Great ambiance, and delicious. Highly recommend.
Great service, great food. Nice for a date. Very reasonably priced.
I dined at Ma Maison with a friend on a Saturday evening. I had the prosciutto and melon, and the coq au vin, followed by the profiterole for dessert. My dining partner had the onion soup and the Beef Bourguignon. All was delicious. Service and ambiance were pleasant. Highly recommended.
We enjoyed everything so much. Have never had better gazpacho anywhere. Scallops, salmon, veal, vegan cake and lamb were all delicious. Merci. We will be back!!!
Delicious, small, amazing service with French staff. A must!
The onion soup was superior, as always, and reason enough to go to Ma Maison. The salad with beets and chorizo was good (and the restaurant kindly divided it for my friend and me) though for me there was too much salad dressing. The clafoutis was least successful with doughy uninteresting pastry around not quite juicy enough fruit, but other desserts at other times have been more successful, but the onion soup is enough for a me at Ma Maison and so much closer than Paris.
As good as always
This was a wonderful lunch for us. Ma Maison is definitely one of our favorite restaurants.
We celebrated my partner’s 60th Birthday here and what a wonderful time we had !
The food was authentically French (and delicious ! ) and
the service friendly, accommodating and very professional.
We highly recommend Ma Maison .....
Denis was amazing. Generous French portion. Make a reservation!
Phenomenal! This is a place that I will definitely come back. Food was perfect and the staff was wonderful. Highly recommended.
Great meal! The French onion soup and foie gras were great starters. The special Roquefort Soufflé with sautéed filet mignon was amazing. My husband had the duck, which he loved! Desserts were delicious! I would highly recommend Ma Maison!
Amazing spot. Denis is a great waiter. The food drinks and service are super high value. Highly recommend!
Always a fabulous dining experience! Great food, service and ambiance!
Lovely place for a business lunch meeting for my manager and I in a very convenient location. Food was excellent and menu was diverse! Very quiet and quaint café.
My wife and I had an amazing dining experience at Ma Maison for our anniversary. Denis our waiter was very attentive, provided excellent recommendations, and helped to make our evening special. There was not one item that we ordered that we didn’t greatly enjoy. We will defiantly return to Ma Maison.
