It was great! Food was amazing and very good. My friends and I had a great time.
Fun playlist. Great food. My new Durham favorite.
My husband and I very much enjoy the M family of restaurants, so we were very eager to eat at M Pocha. If you are a fan of Asian food, small plates, and unique fusions this is a great option. I highly recommend the Shrimp Toast!
Excellent food and excellent service! We will be back:)
Mandu, pork buns were great
Xiao Mian was the best, highly recommend it
This was my second time at M Pocha and the food was fantastic as usual! I also want to especially call out the wonderful service by the staff here - they’re extremely hospitable and helpful!
Absolutely delicious! be sure to try the gai lan and the pork buns. Really, everything is divine.
Food was absolutely delicious and service was very hospitable
Food was awesome, as was the service
Wonderful culinary adventure at M Pocha !
Excellent food in a lively atmosphere; small plates are not too small, flavors were memorable.
The food and service at MPocha were both excellent. We went with another couple for the first time and had a great experience. The place is small but has a lot of energy and is an excellent place to have a meal with friends. We will definitely be going there again.
Great interpretation of Korean food. Sat at bar and service was a bit slow (but understandable since restaurant had only recently opened fully).
Papaya salad (served w/pork rinds!)
Pork steam buns
Seafood noodle soup
Got sat down at 9:15 for our 9:00 reservation. I understand that it is nobodies fault but when I’ve been sat down late at other restaurants, they have given us a free appetizer or round of drinks to apologize. I have appreciated that in the past so it would have been nice.
Love this place every single time. Guy, our server, is always outstanding. New menu items on occasion are always an enjoyment. This time it was chicken and caviar. Made up some for the disappointment of no longer having my favorite item on the menu, the shrimp burger. Can't wait til the next time to try the meat that again!
So glad to have tried M Pocha. Nice cozy place with great street view. Attentive and fast service. Very good recommendations from our server. Interesting cocktail choices. We tried the shrimp rolls (excellent) meat dumplings (delicious but messy to try and eat), pork buns (outstanding - arepa like) and the nasa goren, which was a really good sized portion (tasty).
The food and drinks were delicious and the service was outstanding.
Early dinner out with the teens after a long day of shopping.
Felt so taken care of by all the staff. And the table by the fireplace was absolutely lovely!
I took a group of 3 friends from out of town here, and they were very impressed. It definitely gives New York vibes- an intimate space with a vibrant ambience. The food was delicious! Ordered the Gai Lan twice for the table. Would highly recommend!
Ben was an excellent server and the food was outstanding!
M Pocha was so much fun. Great seats looking out at Five Points, safe barriers between groups, terrific food, lively music, and a great server. Serving food as it. Inez’s up meant new deliveries of deliciousness. We will be back.
Love the food and fun atmosphere! Music sometimes gets a little loud, for a small space. Shrimp toast, Korean fried chicken, and Nagasaki ramen soup are our favorites.
Amazing food, tasty vegetarian options, wonderful people
The food was OUTSTANDING. We are devoted M Sushi fans and really loved our experience at M Pocha. Delish!!
The staff very kindly modified our reservation to include 5 more people than originally requested. The food was delicious and service was great. I'll definitely be back :)
Food and staff were great. Asked for recommendations and they were spot on.
AMAZING food - best we’ve had in Durham so far. Ramen was great and Nasi Goreng is recommended too.
Interesting small menu meant for sharing. We liked the variety to the dishes. The Nagasaki Champon was by far the best dish. Highly recommend and I’d go back for that. Mandu and Chashu don also very good.
Everything was fabulous. The steam bums, Shrimp toast (my favorite), papaya salad, and dumplings were outstanding. We went before seeing a show at the Carolina Theater. Perfect. We will do it again next time. Short walk, great food, quick service, and wonderful drinks. Thank you, M Polka. We’ll be back soon and will certainly recommend to friends.
Delicious as always. So fun to try new plates and share. One of my favorite spots in Durham. The staff is attentive and and the atmosphere is very welcoming.
Just excellent! Great local spot
You will go back again and again and again!!!!!
Food and service was excellent. Everything we ate was good! The shrimp toast and shrimp fried rice were great. So were the pork steam buns. I have nothing but great things to say about the food and service.
One concern was the place was pretty busy. They do have plexiglass between seatings but not the most comfortable when thinking about COVID. We will probably try for outside next time.
Food is great—I hope the restaurant considers adding more vegetarian options :)
Bartender was amazing and knowledgeable.
An overall positive eating experience.
Staff was courteous and quick to deliver food.
The main word to describe the food would be ‘interesting’, while several items hit the mark with each bite (shrimp toast), others, while tasty, were less of an experience (entrees).
Overall value was decent, with the small plates easily feeding multiple people.
Definitely recommend for the experience, but know it is a fusion menu that trends closer to innovative rather than traditional.
First time trying M Pocha and I loved it! Great cocktail options! Try the REFRESH with Conniption cucumber vodka! Small tasty plates to share as well as entree size! The edamame dumplings were divine. If you like mushrooms try the Shitake Jjajang! Filled with mushrooms over "gun gun" noodles with a nice chile oil kick! I will definitely be back!
Cute and cozy!!
Great food, great service, fun night out!
