Great prime rib dinner, the popover was only decent, not hot out of the oven. We were early diners may be the reason. Wate staff very attentive. We will return in the future!

We chose this spot, thinking it would be a “nicer” spot for dinner - i.e. not a burger bar. While they did have other items on the menu (thus our selection), the vibe was def casual bar. I chose “standard seating” when making my reservation; however, when the hostess checked us in she asked if a high top was fine. I glanced around the dining room and didn’t see any open tables, and responded “is that my only option?” “Yeah,” was the reply. We were escorted back to our table - right near the walk-thru for the kitchen. Meanwhile, there were two other tables with reserved signs on them that were never sat the entire time we were in the restaurant. It took several minutes for a server to come to our table. So much so that we began looking for other options that we could go to on short notice. Finally Sarah came by with water for each of us; we ordered martinis, and she disappeared in a flash. Eventually, she returned with our beverages and took our food order. I asked if the Caesar dressing was made in house; it wasn’t, so I got the steak & bleu salad. Hubs ordered the walleye. Salad was delicious, dressed perfectly; walleye was cooked correctly, quality fillet, but under-seasoned/bland. Sarah seemed quite frazzled throughout the evening - the restaurant didn’t appear to be overly busy, so maybe something else was going on in her world. When we were ready for our check, my husband tried to flag Sarah down. She abruptly said she’d be back after getting a check from another table. Just seemed like she wasn’t in a place to multitask. Overall, we had a fairly disappointing experience. We’re only in Duluth for a couple nights, and this will likely not make the list next time we happen to be in town.

Incredibly busy night for the restaurant, however even with a 6pm reservation, we didn’t walk out of the restaurant until almost 8pm, lots of waiting. The server was great, kept updating us, offered additional drinks on the house, food was just meh, by the time it arrived.

Very nice dining experience. The hotel parking, the elevator and access to the restaurant was very convenient. The atmosphere was very pleasant. I ordered the ribeye steak. It was delicious and done to perfection. The waiter was very attentive. Excellent job. I live locally and this was my first time in this restaurant. I am not a big fan of downtown street parking but the hotel parking was a breeze and it’s all under cover. I think this is a very nice restaurant with an excellent menu and I would recommend it. Super hospitality, service and food

This was our first visit to Lyric Kitchen Bar, and the experience was spectacular. Their approach to pasta is better than anything we've experienced, plus the dinner salads, appetizers and specialty cocktails made it a true celebration. Our server was attentive and checking back often for anything we needed. We could even watch the Timberwolves from our booth! Highly recommend the jambalaya pasta and the shrimp bacon pasta as well as the burgers and fries.
